Having a problem with accessing the internet with a netgear router and ethanet cable. It is connected but can`t get any web pages. Can`t "repair" as the lan connection isn`t showing in network connections. Have tried unplugging the router and restarting the computer but no help. the laptops are fine and the pc worked until sun, please help.

I had a similar problem a while ago, on the router somewhere there will be a tiny button that you have to hold down with a pin, turn off the P.c and hold this buttone down, you will ahve to reintsall the software for the router but this cured mine.0 -
