  • Happy shiny new diary CM. I followed an earlier one of yours and loved your lists back then so subscribing again. I keep going awol from MSE because life gets in the way but recently returned and determined to stick with it this time.

Hi CM (hope you don't mind me calling you that?) Just wanted to say I can relate to so many of your goals!! Your weight loss goal is almost identical as mine and for the same reasons!

Will be checking in to watch your progress but in the meantime - best of luck

I think this is a brilliant thread and they're great goals so I'd like to subscribe too, if that's okay.

Big post - just gone GRRRRR

So a quick Hi to all that have dropped in - in - good to see you. And Judi - you can call me anything you want.

DH is off today so not much done as he feels so guilty that he's can't help much. But as he's at work tomorrow I can get stuck into MSE & the house like a mad thing.

Have great intentions of updating signature, cleaning whole house, and moving the stuff in the kitchen cupboards about as well as tidying them - that will be scary but I'll regale you with the out of date items unearthed from the back of the units..... If nothing else - it will make you all feel like saints.

So I'll toddle off now & save this post before the laptop eats it again & I need to resort to DH's blood pressure tablets

    Have a good night y'all :)

    Happy new year CM,

I don't think 6 stone in a year is unrealistic, I think it is totally doable and I am aiming to lose similar if not more in 2016

Good luck in your quest for 2016!

Thanks Mary - with the amount I have to lose I don't think it should be an issue

So - I have been thinking.
I've decided that instead of a full year of sobriety I'll be allowed 52 days where I consume alcohol. So when these days are gone - they're gone. I felt this would be more achievable and I'd be less likely to crumble knowing that I'm permitted a glass of wine or two

    So today:-
    General MSE
    • NSD
    • All meals from stores
    • House needs cleaned (desperately)
    • Loads of washing
    Garden/garage work
    • Chop up my uncle's fence panels for kindling (only the ones that have been cut to size so far)
    • Lift the few bits of rubbish that have blown into the front garden
    Winter supplies
    • Bring in trugs of logs (stocking up before next storm system comes in)
    • Also can use the kindling chopping here too :)
    Be chilled
    • Load my Mindfulness CD onto iPod
    • Listen to Mindfulness CD today
    Weight and health
    • Alcohol free day
    Finances
    • Look at remaining bills & work out finances
    • Take pictures of a picture that we need to sell through an auction house for valuation
    Happy home
    • Tidy & clean
    • Tidy spare room (at least to make it respectable)
    • Kitchen - move a couple of cupboard contents about to try to make the kitchen more user friendly
And I think that will do :)

Catch up later folks - have a good one

Great list CM. Is there a get rid of 2016 items thread? I got rid of 2013 in 2013 but have accumulated more stuff with the addition of small boy.

Hi Scottishmummy - the thread is HERE
I've not joined it as I have enough trouble keeping up to date with 1 or 2 threads but "borrowed" the idea :D

So - moving on from Saturday, my last day of holiday will consist of

    General MSE
    • NSD
    • All meals from stores
    • House needs quick blitz
    • Ironing
    Garden/garage work
    • Probably none as it's piddling down outside & I have a fair amount of inside work to do
    Winter supplies
    • Top up logs indoors (only 1 trug I think)
    Be chilled
    • Load my Mindfulness CD onto iPod
    • Listen to Mindfulness CD today
    • Update 121 as I have this early tomorrow (doing it today means I don't stress as much in the morning)
    Weight and health
    • Alcohol free day
    • Called Occ Health Worked for DH for necessary home accessories
    Finances
    • Look at remaining bills & work out finances
    • Take pictures of a picture that we need to sell through an auction house for valuation
    Happy home
    • Quick blitz of house
    • Tidy spare room (at least to make it respectable)
    • Kitchen - move a couple of cupboard contents about to try to make the kitchen more user friendly
    Active Money saving/money making
    • E-mail booked night away (free night) to work to print off at work
    • Check MS sites
    • Check Bzz Agent
And I think that will do for today

    Have a good one y'all
