Yes Bobs, all boys in my house.

Just had an email from the solicitor, who has lost my cheque, and so I have just had to do a bank transfer. Grrr, thought it would be a no spend day today.

I am counting my yellow sticker bargains into the total. That is why it is so high. I fed us all (6 of us) on less than £20 last week.

How lovely. I have 1 boy of 7 and my new little daughter who is almost 5 months.

That's impressive YSING for sure! How annoying about the cheque. Have you been charged to stop it? My bank charge £10 for that.

I Wombled a receipt a few weeks back and it had continence pads in it. It made me blush. I'm too young for continence pads but hey ho, the receipt gave me some pences from cos and cs.

Oh lordy. You'll be on the Tena mailing list now ;)

    50p off coupon for CO-OP.

Saved £31.50 on bus fares for the last 3 weeks as I have been sharing my daughters Oyster Card with her weekly bus pass on it. We work different hours, so my daughter pointed out I could use her Oyster Card as I will not get paid until 15th February, so money is tight because my JSA stopped on the 24th January, the day before I started work.

    #33 current total = £395.98

Just be careful on that one. I used to have a young girl (16) working for me and she got fined for using her mother's pass. Now I know you can use a pay as you go card of another person with no trouble but not a weekly pass or monthly pass etc. Just making you aware. It's a good one if you can get away with it but then the fines can be big of they catch you out.

Oh Gods, I read that as if you had 8 kids, and only one of them was a boy.

Had to read that 4 times before I got it right.:rotfl:

As to the cheque, if they find it they can cash it and put it toward the rest of the bill. So far it has cost over £1k to get a mortgage, have a survey and all the searches, with another 1.5k to go in stamp duty and solicitors fees.
So every penny I can claw back on the household bills is going to make a difference.
After all, I want the keys by Easter.:EasterBun
