    Hi Wombles,
Today I had a lovely treat - my friend bought tickets to the QVC beauty bash. The ticket cost £20. However, whilst there I had the following
    - free tea and cakes
    - free hand massage
    - free makeover with glossy photo print out to keep
    - free eyebrow threading
We also recieved a goody bag each which I would guess is worth around £200! A few products I like and will keep. Others will make nice presents for friends. I might swap some items with my friend - she won't use the fake tan but I will. She's not getting the OPI nailvarnish though!!!
Well worth £20 I'd say, but again not really a womble. I will work out what I would have spent on myself and presents and threading, less the £20 entrance fee and let you know what I "saved"

    Fantastic. It sounds really wonderful.

In the Family Union newspaper said that members can get a 10% discount on their tv/phone/internet package, so I went to the website and entered my details. It is already in force, the very next day! It should save us €6,53/month = €78,36!

    Brilliant!

Great womble Siebrie - excellent saving!

You had a lovely treat Goingtodoit - very envious ;)

My online food order came yesterday but I didn't get a chance to add up my savings then, but here it is now:

Substitutions gave me 220g extra king prawns but price matched to the cost of my original choice, so I'm hoping a claim of £1.72 will be OK? Also got promotional savings totalling £13.45 (carrier bag charge of 40p taken into account.

I made a yummy steak and veg puff pastry pie using YS meat I bought on a whim yesterday. Should've been enough for two meals, but DH said it was tasty and polished it all off :rotfl: Prawn curry (loaded with free ones) for dinner later. Off to update my total...

I'm waiting for some cash back to track on my account but not sure how long you have to wait fore you can ask for a pay out? Anyone?

Good work indeed Dizzy.. which website are you waiting on go track the cashback?

Hi Bob - it's Quidco. Not sure what the average time is that cash back is confirmed and made available to draw? I think I waited about three months for my RAC cash back, but not really sure. It's not a huge amount, but I'm looking forward to free money :rotfl:

Ah. I haven't really used Quidco much aside from the reciepts I scan in on Clicksnap. That pays out when I get to £1 automatically.

If you have Clicksnap & CoS and there is an offer for a 'free' item I take it you can only claim for it on one of the apps?

I don't know. I load reciepts into both each time and always get the money. So maybe worth trying.

  • Hello wombles,
Today I gave my friend the OPI nailvarnish as a late xmas gift, so that is worth £10. My threading costs £4 so I need to extract another £6 value from the gifts, and after that I've covered the entry fee and all furthe gifts go to the womble total!
