I have to add to today's wombles (all from the office): 3 mandarins, 2 bananas, 1 apple; 1 chocolate hazelnut cake minus one piece from a proper bakery; 2 chocolate croissants, 1 plain croissant, 4 mini chocolate muffins. And I ate another Danish pastry, and a piece of strawberry cake, which was yummy!

    I'll claim 6x€0,20 + €12 + 3x€1,25 + 4x€0,50 =€18,95.

Oh my days Siebrie! I'm going to have to get a job at your place. You're such a lucky womble!

Well, DH is enroute to collect a mini trailer from his cousin's wife's dad's girlfriend (!..?) that she no longer wants and says it's free to us if we collect. It does need new tyres but they aren't too expensive and Ebay has one very similar with a bid of £20 on it. I'm going to claim a tenner for this, which takes into account new wheels and fuel to collect. Very pleased with that!

Greengoblin - you sound like you might be my stonemason :rotfl: I gave him loads of my spare chicken eggs and some beers to say thanks for doing a fabulous job on our limestone wall. Got to keep the workers happy! Also fed and watered the Autoglass man who replaced my windscreen today with strong tea and a sticky strawberry iced ring doughnut. My random act of kindness for today :)
  • i finally broke the new years deadlock on finding change! 2p found on the floor tonight! YEY:rotfl:

I suppose something is always better than nothing :)

I know! And I really appreciate it. I would have left the fruit if it had been a weekday, but most colleagues had left already and the Friday evening cleaner is ruthless. If she had a habit of taking it home herself, I would have left it for her, but she just bins the lot. Maybe those are her orders, but I do not want to see all that food thrown away.

Massive congratulations sugarbaby! Really pleased for you xxx

I am even more impressed with our wombled trailer this morning - it has a rain cover, tow-hitch cover, working lights (and two flat tyres :rotfl:). The one on EBay went for £190 in the end, so I think we got a real bargain!

Congratulations! That was a lucky penny, I am sure!

Due to two wombled receipts and a voucher I added 47 points to my loyalty card.

  • Wombled a free bag from work today, quite a nice one to pop frozen and chilled stuff in. The only reason they are giving them away is because they are Christmas themed!!
Must be at least a £2 bag :D quite pleased with that!!

I unexpectedly ended up in Tesco this afternoon, so had a peek to see if there were any YS bargains while I was there. Came away with a half price beef joint and three pieces of yellow fin tuna, all reduced by a third. The beef is already cooked (went in the oven at the same time as something else, so no extra cost there either) and now cooling, waiting to be carved into slices for sandwiches and maybe tomorrow's dinner and I now have to research a yummy tuna recipe...hmm...

Saved £5.96 altogether, so pleased with that and will update my total accordingly :T

Well done on that Dizzy :)

    What about fish kebab?
