Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
FunBrum -that's so funny. Had similar reaction from people behind me when I picked up two pennies in short distance of each other today. I made sure I used my loud voice and declared 'Oooo find a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck;)'

Well done everyone else. Great work going on.

  • Here's me thinking no wombling from me for a few days. Snow and ice around here so pennys on the ground have been hiding.
But just been cleaning around the living room and a penny on the floor. Also the man of the house came home from work last night with wombles of 2 bottles of red wine , a bottle of champagne and a big bunch of fresh flowers all given from his customer. Lovely lady that she is.
But I am just going to add on the penny to my total.
    Enjoy your sunday everyone.

    Hi All

    Nellsnest -amazing haul!

BritishBibliophile -it's always so disappointing when the reciepts aren't around isn't it.

Today's wombling for me involved loading up as many reciepts as I could into Clicksnap and Checkoutsmart. I managed the full quota on both so that's 20p to add.
It all adds up in the end doesn't it.

22p whilst out litterpicking today, made up for the mess that went into 3 bin bags :O
2 bacon rolls and an uncooked sausage to take home ( yes, 1 whole sausage!) this week as well!

Edit - I should just add that I work in a butchers shop. I realized that saying 1 sausage might look a bit random! We only pack them up in 8's or 6's :rotfl: but a free sausage is a free sauage!

Although I've had to shop today, I managed to bag a few bargains!
First I received £10 gift from a freind, then I bought my grandson a pair of trackie bottoms and a pack of two long sleeved t-shirts, £8 each or 2 for £12 saving £4
I then bought some YS Camembert reduced from £3.29-£1.29
    =£16 :)

My sister has given me a stash of food today. 1 1/2 spitroast chicken a box of mixed salad, 12 rolls, 2 tins tuna, 2 pkts basmati rice and another bar of Green and Blacks chocolate!
I know the chicken is worth £5.95 but I can only estimate the rest.
    Any suggestions?!:undecided:question:

You could go onto a supermarket website and see how much they sell them for?

Good on you litterpicking. I've done quite a lot as well whilst wombling. It's good to help isn't it.
