Hi everyone! I've been quietly wombling over the past week and am pleased to report in with my haul:

Used a £5 voucher when purchasing some new baby clothes for my little niece, so was able to "spend" more.

Both my and DH's preferred deodorants were half-price in Wilco, so I stocked up, saving £6.

I saved £5.32 with promotions, price-match and YS items with my food shop - got some rib-eye steak for DH reduced to £1.79 :j

The delivery driver who brought the portacabin for our builders gave me a new car freshener to combat 'eau de chien' in my van (I'm going to claim 50p) and I'm looking after next door's chickens while they are on holibobs, so am collecting double-bubble eggs. With my girls' contribution today, I got 14 eggs, so £1.40. And, best of all, a penny found in the attic room while I was having a bit of a tidy up.

Grand total = £18.23 :D. Will update signature now for the start of October!

It's been some time since I posted, due to upheaval at work. I'm still there, but some of my colleagues are gone, and I seem to have wombled their work...... As I get no extra pay or other benefits, I cannot claim anything for this womble :)

    Hi Bob,

Wayne is my ex, Paul I only met Sunday night and Alston is a Karaoke friend. I define Alston and other male friends in this way, as I only know them from years of going to the same Karaoke pubs as them, but they are not true friends. It was lovely to go out on Sunday night and return home not having spent any of my own money on my drinks. :D

Sugarbaby absolutely. Always nice to be treated.

Some wombles this week. A stack of baby clothing coat hangers and some packing boxes. Putting a nominal £5 on for those.

    20p roadkill.

    I am so happy!

In August due to the Southern Rail Strike I had a horrendous journey which involved close to 3 hours of additional travel time.

I put in a complaint to Southern Rail and this week they sent me the full £57.50 return fair cost in Vouchers.

This coincided with my email alert that I had set up telling me that the advance tickets sales are now released for my OH and my's journey to my family this Christmas.

So this afternoon we went to the station and bought the tickets for our Christmas journey which cost us just £4.25 each as the we used the vouchers.

So I know I've wombled £57.50, but actually it feels like more because the tickets were the same price as on the train line's website, but because we bought them at the station we saved £1.50 on the booking fee as well.

And I had budgeted-and was expecting to pay-around £50 for a return journey per person this Christmas.

I am claiming a womble of £59 and I was so happy walking away from the station that I kept high fiving my OH.
