Seemingly not, just this is the first time I've bumped into it. (Reviewing MSE I do find it mentioned in the latest email, but I'd bumped off the monitor by then.) A chore as I shop chez A a fair bit using this 10% safety net to stack the Christmas fund. (Fob as well as card - So Much Easier to remember.)
The Wilcos savings card pays up nicely & isn't Christmas only - and as they are my preferred supplier of Kilner (routinely lower prices, often ample stock & I can check every article unlike the web offers) as well as having occasional mind-bending bargains on paint & stationery, I'll stash a few penn'orth there.0 -
Used a Nectar Summer Rewards voucher to save myself £21.40 off my Pizza Express meal today. :T

Evening all!
Well done Bob on exceeding last year's total so early in this one :j
I've played Mr T at their own game this week by making good use of discount codes to buy new small kitchen appliances on both my and DH's accounts. Two of the items on my wish list were on special offer (extra bonus!) and splitting up my order into small, lesser value orders, has meant that I have wombled a whopping £110 off the selling price due to discount codes used...
Oh, and 13 eggs to add to my tally £110 + £1.30 = £111.30 :beer:0 -
I am going to try and womble a new DS for #4, I have been reading Mr T's website and apparently they have a 12 month warranty on electrical goods, and he has had his for 7 months and it won't charge properly without a good wiggle. So I am going to give it a go, I had researched getting him a new one for 'C' (it is only September so I won't say it). Would be nice not to have to shell out £80! or £40 from the C0ns0le D0ct0r to fix it.
Was DS2's birthday today, so DH took me to lunch at the dirt cheap Indian Thali place down the road (£5 free lunch for me!) I am not sure it is normal to celebrate your child actually reaching 12 years old - but it really is a feat in itself as he has been absolutely horrid a good 80% of the last 12 months. Love him dearly but he is an utter Toad at times (most times ). Still, he is not finished yet. A work in progress. He will get nicer as he gets older (that's what I tell his brothers anyway)4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Wow Dizzy Imp that's fantastic.
Also well done to you Bobarella - to be honest I'm inspired by you all - some really amazing wombling tips.
For myself: 2p roadkill; 4 pack of soya yogurts £1.50 it was a friends birthday today and she bought in cakes but bought soya yogz for me!! Bless her. Last week an ex-colleague sent us a parcel to help us get through our Ofsted visit. It included cans of G&T, gummy sweets, cakes and biscuits - how nice is she? I will claim £4 for my share of this. It was so lovely of her. Made me think about giving rather than taking so when we cleared out the garage this weekend took stacks of stuff to the local charity shop and also put things for FREE on the local FB for sale web page. It felt good to help other fellow womblers.
Happy wombling everyone xxx:j0 -

I bought a 300 gram box of After Eights for £1.50 saving me £2for Christmas and New Year
2p roadkill on my way home from work
I got 2 free tickets to see Marco Benevento on Sunday 18th September saving me £20 My daughter and I went and enjoyed music we had never listened to before. We always feel more connected to live performances.

Just a few pennies on COS for me lately.
OH and I went blackberry picking at the weekend. I reckon we must have picked 2-3lb. No idea what that would've cost in the shops - any clues anyone?
We also enjoyed a free trip to the cinema last night with the tickets from Maximiles, which came a couple of weeks ago:TThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Blackberries are my favourite! Most supermarkets sell them for about £2.25 for a little tiny punnet of 200g, so I'd value your haul at a tenner at least!
A paltry 5p roadkill to report for me...0 -
Diz congratulations on your clever purchasing. Play the system I say.
Foxholes 12 is a big deal. Maybe he's going through early puberty? Anyway I'd celebrate getting to such a big figure too. And I hope you can get the new DS too.
Missemptypurse how nice of your colleague.
Sugarbaby that sounds so nice.
