Hi again, not much roadkill around here. I think most people are broke and are careful to pick up any dropped pennies, but I keep looking.
Did get a few teabags that went unused at a meeting today...not enough to count though but enough for tonight and tomorrow.
I'm still eating the food my friends brought so hoping to save some money though.
I am trying really hard to be frugal as I desperately need to save for some building work

Hi Sashacat, it can be surprising how much teabags actually cost. A box of twenty may sell for two pounds, meaning that each individual teabag would be 10p.

    Hi Everyone,
Sorry I've been MIA for a while - I've just started a new business up, so I've been mega busy with that - no money in it yet, but give it time and I'm sure it'll grow :j

    Wombling today:
    £1.05 Qmee
    25p shopitize
    1p Cos

Also had notification of more quidco ready to cashout so I'll add that when I get it in my account. I have been keeping my totals updated even if I've not been posting.

Paid in £100 in £2 yesterday to the special treats account - this usually means a break away for us near Christmas (OH's birthday)

I'm off to read all the posts I've missed.

Ooh, new business sounds exciting autumnleaves! Good luck x

Went to get our van kitted out with custom-made cages for the mutts and they gave me a lovely green lead that was priced up at £6.99. They asked permission to use my dogs (and their cages) in the new brochure, so soon my hounds might be famous :rotfl:

Also got back home to a full-house of eggs - 5 big brown lovelies = 50p.

Made an online booking with Prezzo and was sent an online voucher for a bottle of Prosecco. Suppose that's worth a fiver!
