Oh, and for any Vegans/ Veggies / Meat reducers, Ocado are doing the 50% off all Fry's frozen food offer again.

I am waiting until the freezer moves across to the new house until I make my order. So don't order it all, save some for me!

    Morning all.
Spent the weekend in London and only found 1p lol.

Someone had placed it half way up the exit escalator at Holborn ... I had a real giggle when I picked it up and wondered did someone place it there deliberately. How sad am I :)

Found a £10 shop scan voucher that I had received about a year ago and forgot about.

Used £10 Clubcard Vouchers for £40 meal at Prezo at the weekend. All those pennies soon add up.

I bet they did do it deliberately :rotfl:

Foxholes glad to hear all your news..wondered what had become of you :)

My womble today was 50p roadkill. I was passing a bus stop and had to ask a gaggle of teens (male) to let me through as they were all messing about noisily as they do. Right in the middle of their group I spotted the 50p so I picked it up much to their amusement. Honestly what is wrong with kids today? 50p is a decent amount to find.
I think the trend towards virtual money could have a lot more debt to answer for in a few years. Contact less, paypal, apple pay, whatever, none of it makes the user consider their budget.

Oh, also managed to get myself on another 'what lands on your doormat' survey, should get £25 of lovetoshop vouchers to add to the voucher pile, just for opening my post, and have found a mystery shop for the local post office (only £8, but still, £8!) when I need to send a letter anyway.

If you are doing Checkoutsmart or Shoptize you can take a photo of your receipt and get cashback on items bought / 1p credit per receipt and when it gets large enough you can cash out.

Had a lovely Chinese meal with my new man. I had spare ribs with salt and pepper £5.50, Special fried rice £5.80 and a glass of house white wine £3.60, total of £14.90

I found 1p roadkill on the way home

I found a McDonald's Monopoly 6 Chicken McNuggets on the classroom floor worth £2.69 (nearly threw it in the bin, but checked it to find it was a winner)

    #33 current total = £1,603.03
