  • Evening everyone, well i totally let myself down today, i woke up with a panic attack at 3am this morning and felt dreadful especially with this cold and just talked myself out of it. I have spent the day in bed and feeling massive guilt about it, i will have to ring up and apologise and explain :(

NIC hope you have a lovely weekend with your girls

FEISTY the log cabin will be an investment my lovely, sounds like you got some good bargains there, omg you brought back bad memories there, i once had a dry socket crikey it was worse than the tooth ache

MANDCO i hope taz has a lovely birthday

MRSINVISIBLE sorry you have had so much pain with your tooth, i hope it is all better now

VULPIX ooh you are a busy bee, i bet the garden is really coming on now! Regarding the sink its a ladies prerogative to change her mind :D i also as FEISTY nearly had a heart attack when i saw divorce proceedings :rotfl:

Thank you everyone for the great ideas to publicise the collection for the rescue centres. I've heard back from both of them now and they're both very keen on the idea so I really have to get on with it now

TREASUREQUEEN hope you managed to de-paint the dog!

NIC hope your weekend is going well and good luck to your girls for tomorrow - hope you get up bright and early.

FEISTY nice to see you. The cabin sounds great, I hope everything goes well for you.

Well done MRSINVISIBLE you are indeed a brave soldier. It's not brave to face something that doesn't scare you, it's brave to be scared but do it anyway.

MURIE, don't worry I won't overdo things. Hope you get the finishing touches done.

VULPIX your posts do make me chuckle. I think you and MrV should be on tv. Loving the idea of the royal visit, hope you get done in time. I know nothing about the whole Pokemon thing I really should make more effort to keep up. Well done on getting the clock though.

GTQ glad you had a fab time and good seats at The Lion King and how exciting that you've still got Aladdin to look forward to. I don't mind buying one design of card but I do miss picking the right one for the right person out of a mixed box (and deciding who gets the hideous bell one). :D

SAMMYKAYE I often add things to my lists as I do them just so I get the pleasure of ticking them off again.

FREE you didn't let yourself down, these things happen. You've dealt with much more scary things than this its just that you're feeling very poorly at the moment so your reserves are down. You'll get there next time. Chemo number eight should be Tuesday but I'm not over confident about the blood results on Monday so will just have to wait and see. Hope it's all ok though, will be good to be planning for number nine.

I've been itching to get on with Christmas things so I've finally bitten the bullet and bought a Cath Kidston Christmas planner on eBay. PINKSTEPS also found me the Christmas jumper I've been desperate for on eBay and seeing it again we'd both remembered it as being nicer than it is so after all that longing I've decided I don't want it lol. However, I've decided that I'm definitely going to buy myself some new pyjamas for lounging around in and some for sleeping in too. I'm fed up in my old mismatched jamas and vest tops. Plus I've decided I'm going to look for a Christmas sweatshirt instead of a jumper this year so I'm feeling very organised and in charge. :D
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Heads up for anyone looking for any beauty things for presents, TK Maxx seem to be having a big event and have lots of extra hair, makeup, skincare and nail bits in. There are some lovely gift sets that would make perfect presents :)

    Morning ,
DD's christmas duvet cover came its very pretty and she is adamant its not going on until christmas eve, also managed to get her 2 sets of christmas pj's , JD Wiliams have them for £10 + [p+p] and do larger sizes too.

On the subject of painted dogs i understand how paint would get on their tails/ears/rear end but Charlie has a painted tummy ! no idea how that happened .

Anyone doing a hamper Tams treasures have a panda desing travel cup reduced £6-99 free delivery.

My challenge this week is to sort out how to get the photos into DD's locket so i can get it wrapped.

Yes husband is very much if you start a job you finish it mentality! Although this coming from a man who thinks you can have a messy clean house OR a tidy dirty house :undecided.

Also I suffer from panic attacks too lovely - they are horrid so do not feel guilty about staying in bed all day - I have had many a day like that. You havent been well and I find thats when my anxiety likes to creep up on me to make me feel extra rubbish too. I hadn't had one in a while but had a bad one the other day (probably the worst I've had in about a year) and it knocked me for six and I ended up sleeping on the sofa for half the day. Have you tried Rescue Remedy?

GTQ - I am exactly the same with Christmas cards.....I liked pairing people with cards too. Although I tend to go for a generic reindeer one most of the time or a pretty scene to keep people happy. I am hoping to make them this year. My auntie makes a personalised family card every year with a picture of the kids and dogs on. I don't think mine would sit still long enough to have one done!

    • 1⁄4 cup oatmeal
    • 1⁄4 cup sugar
    • red sugar crystals or green sugar crystals or glitter
    Magic Reindeer Food Poem

Be sure to take this magic food and sprinkle on the lawn,
On Christmas, Santa's reindeer travel miles before the dawn.
The smell of oats and glitter path will guide them on their way
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts next morn on Christmas Day!

On "organised christmas" site there are printable labels. The glitter should be edible as normal glitter will harm birds.

Reindeer poop appears to be chocolate covered rasins [organised christmas site]

    Reindeer Poop Poem

I woke up with such a scare when I heard Santa call...
"Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
I ran to the lawn, and in the snowy white drifts,
those nasty reindeer had left "little gifts".

I got an old shovel and started to scoop
Neat little piles of "reindeer poop."
but to throw them away seemed such a waste,
So I saved them, thinking you might like a taste!

As I finished my task, which took quite a while,
Old Santa passed by and he sheepishly smiled.
And I heard him exclaim as he rose to the sky~~~
"Well, they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!"

:rotfl::rotfl:I cant say anything my dog likes to sit under people whilst they are baking/cooking etc and I made my daughter some jam on toast and accidentally dropped some on my white dog.....He has turned slightly pink on one side now so plans for the day have changed slightly and I will be bathing the dog later as well

Oh forgive me because my brains a bit confuzzled but is it the duvet with the reindeers on that you ordered Chrissy? I liked that one!

and thank you for the heads up about the mug - my best friends nickname is panda so Im off to see if I can get one of those for her :D

Can I also add in too - that we can never find edible glitter - so we put sugar in a bowl with food colouring and then whizz it through a food processor.....it goes more of a paler colour but still does the job!
