Bios Update ?

Hi, I have a HP Compaq nc6400 Notebook PC

I have bought a new battery for a second time and it is showing me a battery not detected message again.

I have googled this and it suggests a BIOS updat?

I cannot find this anywhere on the HP drivers and software website anywhere?

Can anyone help please?

Hi, many thanks, i looked under Microsoft Windows XP Professional, but no Bios listed?

Can you see it please? I can't find it?

Those HP machines have a Whitelist. Intel or ATI processor?
