twistedhazel - assume that's £1269 for Nov not Oct?
But well done on hitting the 50%, that prompted me to take a look at my own spreadsheet...
oops - sorry I did mean Nov, thanks for spotting that. Congrats on your own extra o/p too - it's a lovely feeling when you hit that tipping point of past halfway.... Onwards and downwards eh? :j0 -
Oops Sorry #5 finally switching back on and reporting repayments again! Sept oct are £271 each (bit more than usual due to interest drop so more money going to op even though standard op amount co tinues to bank!) Nov op is slightly less as money tighter-so £221 (if I can find the extra £50 between now and Dec I will try but it's looking unlikely)
So sorry for delay in figures it's slipped my mind recently
ThanksMortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -

No 67 here reporting £600 for November, taking me to £5,600 for 2016. After a slight pay rise I increased my DD marginally, a small change but I want the increase to be put to use rather than frittered away!
Thanks for running and for all the updates, they are very motivating!0 -

Still going to do December's one but not sure how next year will pan out what with the baby due in 2 weeks. Has anyone been able to still manage over payments when on maternity leave?
We managed to keep making overpayments whilst I was on maternity leave, just smaller ones! We found we didn't socialise as much after the baby arrived so we saved money that waynow we have nursery fees to pay for so that limits us....but we are determined to keep chipping away at the mortgage in the hope that we can lower our mortgage repayments so that we can afford baby no. 2.
Just remembered that I hadn't updated on my overpayment for October....#7 declaring £153 for October.Mortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30000 -
#10 adding in another £41 for November brings us to £71
Rebate from np0wer - ta very much!
Dribs and drabs of oping this year but hope to compensate for being under target in the 2017 challenge.
Thanks lomcevak
