#20 reporting April o/p of £10,000 :-) bringing my 2016 o/p total to £11,497.

Morning all, as always it's great to catch up with everyone's progress and seeing those pesky mortgages get smaller! This month my fix ended and since I'm planning to move house soon I'm going to run on the SVR for a short time which allows me to make unlimited o/ps. A change in my working life means I don't need the new car I was saving for, so it's all being whacked on the mortgage! So i have now met my 2016 o/p target a lot earlier than expected! I'll continue to o/p and report back with further progress though.

Can't believe how much my finances and attitude to finances has changed since finding these forums a year ago, they really are a fantastic source of knowledge, ideas and motivation! :-)

#25 April normal OP of £343.56 has gone out, will make TT's over the month as well and hopefully will remortgage this month!!

Very cool to see all the overpayments made, large and less large but all equally inspiring to me! I would never have tried so hard to do this without the accountability to the spreadsheet!

Hi, number 105 here. I made another op for March, an extra 116.52, so that's a total of £1666.52 for March and year to date is £4899.56
