Just wondered of anybody has ever got any financial compensation for the stress caused by unnecessary harassment? I'm just so mad at vodafone for causing me so much anxiety, as I mentioned in a previous post, harassing me for a debt I did not owe, and selling me on to a debt collectors.. This question is probably a long shot.. at the very least, I am trying to get back the money I spent on calling their advisors 56 times from my landline.
. Vodafone are saying that if I was still their customer they would have paid me compensation, but all they are offering is a 10 good will gesture, which I find insulting.
A few years ago, I got paid 2 grand compensation fro Lloyds tsb for harassing me with a debt I did owe, but whilst I was in intensive care, fighting for my life. Vodafone were pursuing me when I have been seriously ill, and the stress exacerbated my mental health, of which vodafone knew about both mental and physical illnesses. Just curious to know of anyone got a small payout for psychological stress caused

Sorry to hear you weren't well, i do think you're expecting too much. I agree that £10 is rather poor, i would say around the £50 mark would make sense.
http://www.resolver.co.uk/
Do EVERYTHING through there and download the resolver app onto your phone/tablet, use that app to call them as then it's all on record and cannot deny anything. If they don't resolve it to your satisfaction then you can have your case reviewed by the Ombudsman, you cannot go straight to the Ombudsman however. Good luck.0 -
ok thank you the benny boy.. I didn't know about resolver. They are crafty.. I was trying to go through live chat but they kept cutting me off and then calling me on the phone, against my wishes and knowing that I could not record themMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

I did not get very far with Resolver but that is specific to the attributes of my complaint.
The fact that this app records the calls makes it invaluable. Make sure you maintain a level of calmness whilst expressing your frustration and disappointment because that will aid you and the call logging you are using within the app. I wish I had used this app.0 -
I'm def not feeling calm!! I went through my bank statement yesterday and they acvtually took the £55 early cancellation fee out 3 days after I left them, then persued and harrassed me for it.. then sold me on to debt collectors, all for a debt I never owed! Now they are denying that they took that money out, even though they have seen proofvia a screenshot email.. they are being so unreasonable demanding a hard copy posted in the mail and giving me only 7 days from today for them to receive it.Plus I am trying to claim for the cost of the 54 landline to adivsor calls I made to try and resolve this, of which every single advisor said it was an admin error and they would get it wiped.. Virgin media say that my calls cant be traced as vodafone use international call centres which show a different number dialed on my bill each time, even though I dialed the same number.. it's £180 of calls.. vodafone say I must have made them from another land line.. they are impossible to fight.. I'm so stressed! Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

Likewise. I had a conversation with them and I lost my temper. I did apologise afterwards but since then I've maintained composure on the call and leveraged that to get some reaction. The reality is you cannot trust a customer services agent unless you win them over a little.
Do you have most of your experienced logged or can you write it down with dates and times? Maybe not everything but key moments. Have you tried at least the web relations team via this forum? It links into the Customer Relations team which are the best team you'll engage but still be careful. If you have then I suggest the Ombudsman.0
