That is genius.0

Although why wouldn't they just claim there had been no prior vettings?0

Then they should be able to show a record with just annual jabs I think. And given that I tend to go for TBs there's no way they won't have had any run ins with the vet!Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

Good news! You are right about TBs.0

I am a hard-core TB fan but they are (usually) delicate flowers.
I'll have to remember to ask for vet history if/when I horse shop again...I also wouldn't normally have the nerve to do that, but it makes total sense.0 -
Would never have thought of asking for vetting history ...but.. it is a very good plan. Although I go for native ponies who rarely need a vet being much more sensible than TBsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I think instructor is used to dealing with far more valuable horses but if the seller is being honest it shouldn't be a problem. I might be tempted to get x-rays next time around too.
Bank has failed again and given me £100 compensation instead of £70. This may have been pre-emptive as they still haven't sent me a debit card so I'm going to have to complain again, might make a good amount of money out of this!Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

Interesting day today.... geddit! I hope savings rates will start to creep up. My mortgage is a tracker which I knew would increase so I am still happy with the rate and have the lowest ERC I could find as it was always a temporary fix for a few years until we need to take out equity.
Pay day has been and gone, HMRC confirmed they had sorted out my change of job the day AFTER so another month of the wrong tax code. Hoping to get overpaid tax back this month.
Still no debit card 5 weeks after opening....Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

I feel a bit like I am treading water financially at the moment - everything is set and ready for us to buy a house! We viewed lots this weekend including a few maybes but we're away for a few weeks now so not going to rush anything - I'm sure lots will come on in the new year.Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857
