LW Happy Yule xx
Just taking a quick break from wrapping a gift, the rest I'll leave until tomorrow. DD can help by wrapping the boxed stuff.
Really annoyed with the window. I had to paint acrylic paint over the poster paint to stop it running again so it's not quite done. The painting part in theory is done, it just needs tidying up and the clear glass wiping over to remove prints. Maybe then I can put my net back up and have some daylight in here! I spent hours today stood at the window either painting or using my hairdryer on it to speed up the drying process.
Had confirmation from ex as to what DD is up to over the holidays. She's going away boxing day, coming home either the Tue or Wed, then ex is coming to pick her up on the Thurs to stay at his until the SundayIts the most efficient way to work around plans people have. What I'm looking forward to though is that when we were getting the decorations out of the cupboard, we found 3 airfix kits of DD's which drive me nuts so she's taking them to ex's to do there instead and plans on leaving them in her room there. Then I can have my tupperwear back!
Tomorrow, sorry, Today I have a PAH delivery arriving, and I'm hoping 15kg of dog food will last a lot longer than the 2kg I usually buy!I am however not looking forward to bagging it up. I'm thinking film on the TV and sitting on the sofa to do it rather than standing in the kitchen like I normally would but it can wait until closer to the time we need it. Might do it boxing day once DD has left.
Wed 23- Finish wrapping, and/or errands
Thur 24 - Get DD packed, change beds, prep bags for tomorrow
Fri 25 - Celebrate!
Sat 26 - DD going away and relax :rotfl:
To do:
Walk dog -Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat < All DD's,
Finish the window
Laundry - throws/covers, dog, dog toys (they stink!)
Bath dog, groom & trim claws first if possible
Set up recordings on dvr - 9pm Tue onwards needed
Wrap
Cards for family.
Marzipan cake
Update accounts/transfer money

Some cheeky beast on ebay has just messaged me asking when I am going to refund her.. erm never!! She received, signed for, confirmed receipt through a dispute and left feedback for said item... I swear some people are deranged!!!
I just messaged back with tracking details saying 'you are not eligible for a refund as you received the item on this date and confirmed receipt on this date.'
the gall of some people! So rude!!!

Morning all
Well DD has an appointment at 9,30 so I'll have an hour to kill then so I may just have a wander around town. Other than that I have a parcel to drop off at the post office, a bag for the CS and I may do a run to the tip. The main plan for today though is to at least finish sorting out the LR and to Hoover through downstairs. Ironing will probably wait until after Christmas apart from any bits that people want. All the bedding has been washed apart from DD's so she can strip her bed today.
That leaves the kitchen and bathroom until tomorrow so hopefully that will be doable.
I also need to write and post some cheques, walk the dog and put the door curtain up in the DR.
Anyway that ended up being a long ramble.
Have a good day all
Hugs

Morning all. HAPPY YULE LW Enjoy the day with your fur friend and Mr LW
Major baking today. DH taking in Christmas Eve treats for all the on-call bods at the hospital. So, Savoury muffins and Mince Pies for Christmas Eve night. And Stollen muffins for Christmas Day breakfast.
Had a  moment yesterday. I always bake for my Monday night AA meeting. Yesterday I was prepping mince pies, and picked up my kilner of home made mincemeat - was just about to add that to the pastry when I did a double take. That mincemeat would probably walk under its own steam. Would have been interesting, to have taken them to the meeting!:rotfl: Making the alcoholic batch with a completely different style of topping so that there can be no mix upsThe mince pies and malt loaf were duly demolished so more tupperware space. :j
Have a great day everyone.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Morning all
Hugs, good wishes, posi, get well and coping vibes along with sticks and spoons to all in as great abundance as they are required.
Last night finished backing the Frank turner stitch so gave it ds1 as an extra pres, he said he's had a good birthday and even went so far as to say life in general is good which really in the grand scheme of things is all you can ask.
So far this morning I've written a list of all outstanding jobs and glued sweets and chocs into take away pizza boxes to make selection boxes for the lads. The local shop sold me unused boxes for 15p each and glue gun seems to have done the job well.
Went down to load the wm at 5am and noticed two bodies on the settees and takeaway boxes in the kitchen so guessing the 'party' continued after we went bed. Body is a friend of Ds that we know and it's still breathing so all is well, I know he's at uni so on holiday so I'll leave him and just ask ds1 what time I let friend sleep to once he's gone to work.
My outstanding list.
