Just back in from hairdressers, I now have layers, not sure about the front bit as I think it's still too long but love the back and sides it feels so much better and seems even longer than before.
Postie came while I was out so thank s to my flylady secret Santa there was a gift waiting when I got back.
Sellotape bought so wrapping can recommence today.
Going to set up ironing board and run to catch up with the he juliejim started.

I have cleaned LR and emptied the vacuum :eek: - now making a start of DR and various little niggly jobs.

Slowly getting through both lists, yesterday was spent as a taxi driver but I did manage to get lots crossed off, although not as many as I had hoped.


Mrs MP - Hope the money is found.
Dusty - Hope you find the keys back!
Pigpen - Hope electrics have dried out.
Ionafan - Hope DH is okay.

Monday Mayhem..

• Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up until 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
• Have we located stockings?
• Dust round the whole downstairs
• Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!

Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!

• Iron yesterdays wash mountain
• Get out any special christmas crockery and make sure it is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
• Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike..
• WRAP WRAP WRAP!

Wednesday ~almost done!!

• Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially!

• Make sure the remaining presents are nearly wrapped I will not have people sitting up until 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
• Have we located sacks for presents?
• Mop the kitchen
• Mop the bathroom/s and loo's
• Clean the bath and shower and loo!
• Bake some mince pies and tarts etc.. yummies!!!
• Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
• Sort out the plan for christmas eve.. shop runs, present drop offs etc
• Catch up on the laundry again.. ironing is tomorrows job!
• Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
• Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
• Vacuum the whole of the upstairs!
• Wash windows through the whole downstairs if needed
• Do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
• Prepare a list for that last second shopping
• Toy boxes can be banished upstairs!
• Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up
• Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
• WRAP WRAP WRAP!

I need to get a move on today HHC at 11.30 anyone.

I've partly stripped the bed and put it in the WM, attempted to put my new bird feeding station together but abandoned it and DH can sort it out when he gets home, dealt with 2 parcels which arrived and am slowly working my way around the DR. Hopefully another HHC will see it finished so I'll join jjef for another one!

I've done half the ironing ad watched some of White Christmas, just got to nip ds2 down for his jabs. Will catch up later.

In my HHC I managed to strip the bed and its in the WM, emptied the TD, emptied the DW scrubbed the kitchen work tops and emptied and cleaned the fridge.
Just defrosted soup for lunch will have that then continue in the kitchen oven and cupboard doors are the next tasks.

My uncle has mended the toilet :j

I've hoovered and mopped all downstairs and got second load of washing in, all pots are washed or in dishwasher to go on after tea, have done more of tesco shop including adding a trifle at 6:30 am lol. I also gave bin, toilet brush holder etc a good clean.

Had lunch then did a HHC in the lounge/diner and bathroom, so they are now both fit for my friend to have coffee in at 3pm. Rainy and feels cold now so have put the heating on; wuss, but just thinking of my friend...

Back from Drs nurse did him a meningitis jab as well incase he goes college or uni to save him going back. Hadn't realised they offered that.
Got a few bits in tec0 while down there. Going to wrap a birthday pres now then carry on with the ironing.

We've got the heating on too today

I've packed! Except snacks and there is plenty of room for those. Feel better about it now...

Wrapped grandparents gifts and put wrap away before realising I need to wrap the, kids presents from my brother oh well it's a 5min job I can do tonight.

Will s&s the sinks and loos then tonight is just about feeding and bathing children and getting them to bed early!

That might be me done until Wednesday!
