We're having Christmas Pudding with Rum Sauce, individual trifles and lemon cheesecake with raspberry coulis. I'm also having an Eton Mess at some point over the next week.

We're having a homemade gingerbread cheesecake. Gingersnaps for the base, cream cheese filling with chopped crystallised ginger throughout and HM gingerbread biscuits on top.

  • I have made sticky toffee pudding and will make butterscotch sauce. It has been requested by the girls. It is yummy! Probably eat it later on rather than after the meal.

I bought a sticky toffee pudding for me and chocolate pudding for OH. Served with baileys cream (I'm pregnant so only a tiny drizzle for me).

I like to make a traditional Scottish clootie dumpling (except I microwave it :p) This treat lasts all week hehe. None of us are into xmas pudding but this is nice and lighter. A wee bit is plenty, sliced cold or warmed with custard or cream.

For the big day I make a small sherry trifle that usually gets eaten over 2-3 days later in the evening.

I'd love your recipe and method for this please if you care to post it anytime , thank you
