    It's a magnificent

This is great info - thank you. Yes I'd read about the roads being closed. I'm visiting in August so will be ok
  • Just like to share a tip I found out for myself last year that might still work...

It's worth looking at the most popular rewards even before your 90 day window. If you see one you want, buy it and then wait until you're within the dates you'd actually like to redeem it. You can then return the reward (you're allowed to return 5 a month I believe) and it goes back into the pot almost instantly so you can re-buy it, outside of the normal refresh times.

I did this last year with the 2 x Aria and 2 x Mirage buffets (sadly the Mirage reward has now gone). I'd panic bought them both but they needed using within our first couple of days and I couldn't cope with that level of stress haha! I returned them (on different days) at times that would be the middle of the night in the US, then did the clicking back and forth for a few minutes until they appeared as available and then re-bought them with a new 90 day redemption period attached.

This is obviously a risk in that some other random My Vegaser might be browsing at the exact time you return the reward but it's worth a shot in my opinion!

Yep me too but thanks for the refresh times, that does help. Which facebook group is that info from please?

Well done Photome! I also tried it but was even too slow doing that!!

I find it really difficult to type anything on those rewards fast.I don't know if it is the iPad but I seem to be typing so fast and then it takes ages to catch up.I will try pasting it tomorrow and see.

Sorry if you already know this but you don't need to type in your name if you've claimed a reward before - so you can just stick an initial in each field and then paste in your email address, which speeds things up quite a bit

I didn't know that, I must have been really lucky as I typed my name in first, although it did still say sold out when I clicked on it, guess I must have hit the sold out button at just the right time.

I had been hitting the sold out button and then going back to browsing, then repeat for about 5 minutes
  • Only works if you've already claimed a reward (but I think everyone on this thread probably has)

Really glad you got what you were after, hopefully Hovis and Bubble will get theirs tomorrow.

The sought after rewards have always been hard to get but now that most of the few remaining good ones are so restrictive it's gone nuts. I've got a $25 dining credit for NFI and a weekend brunch at Excalibur which is plenty for the three nights we're staying with MGM. We're not into shows so will probably end up buying a selection of BOGO buffets that we can take or leave while we're there and return what we don't use.
