I would love to go back to Vegas again, haven't been for years. Best flights I can come up with for a week in May or June is flight £700 from London. Too much for me. Anyone spotted any bargains? Thanks

    hi
Maybe a daft question but have you checked the first page?
there are a few ideas on there with regards some useful website ideas.
im sure there was some ideas quite a few pages back about like flying to dublin and back agian and then going to vegas, which seems to have saved a bit of money,im sure a few people will explain better than I.

    Hope this helps a lil

You have possibly left it to late to get a bargain price in May/June
have you looked at indirect as opposed to non stop

I have looked at both direct and indirect, and you are probably right, I have left it too late for May or June bargains.

I've no experience with WestJet, and don't believe anyone else on this thread has either, the above seems cheap comparatively to the rest of May and June though.

You may be better look at Flight + Hotel deals as sometimes that is a better option when flight prices are high and you will need a hotel anyways.

Here's a friendly link (with options to a direct booking site) --> http://goo.gl/flights/3Yoz

    Have a play with the dates - here's another option --> http://goo.gl/flights/EbnL

edit: apols, some of the connections I've picked aren't the best but you can adjust them quite easily for not much more money (or to reflect the one I've put above... unless of course you fancy the night in YYZ :) )

I've flown westjet previously but only on a short Calgary - Vancouver rtn. No issues that I recall.
Will be using them again next Sunday but again just a short hop - Toronto - Boston one way.

WestJet = Add £100 for Luggage.....
and yes, the price is decent cheap with them excluding bags, but then again, they don't actually start the flights until May 6th (LGW -).... so u cant get any reviews as yet...

If you would have booked with them in Oct/November, the bag cost was included, but that changed late November.

In comparison, if you booked a flight with Air Canada to the some of the same airports Westjet use in Canada, then booked a flight to Vegas from there (separate tickets), the cost can be slightly less or about the same as booking 1 ticket with Westjet..
I looked at all this, prior to using the Dublin method :)

I had one email address "used" for redeeming myvegas rewards, that is also my Facebook..which I don't use...account email.

My Mlife account had a different email..not a problem until this year for redeeming rewards for hotel stuff, like free room nights,as we rang up and done it.

But now with you getting a link in redemption email to Mlife account,it also told me a few weeks back that there was an issue between my Mlife email and my Facebook/myvegas email address.

I emailed Mlife, and heard nothing from them.So then emailed myvegas explaining the problem..I received a reply quite quickly asking me which email account I wanted linked to myvegas rewards.
I gave them the same as Mlife one,and could then book the reduced rate myvegas room reward.
Email myvegas....they may sort your problem out.

Thank you-sorry I've only just seen this :) I did call them, all was sorted and I now have 2 free tickets for KA . 1 was complimentary the other BOGOF. I was really pleased as I've never seen a cirque show before :D

I've kind of given up on myvegas most of the time. I'm playing occasionally, but have 230,000 points with 5 1/2 months till our next trip. Last year we went twice and used up quite a lot of points we were also new players from the year before. Last year we got some free nights at luxor, various buffets and ran out points almost right down for each trip. It was May and September so we had time to build up points for September.

They're harder to use up now because there's hardly any good buffet deals if you're not staying at the hotels. Now if you're lucky you'll get 1xbuffet on each player, whereas before I could do a 2x dinner at Bellagio for example. Now I'm restricted to a 2/1 at much less points.

We'll probably get a 2/1 bellagio lunch, 2/1 bellagio dinner, MGM buffet each, secret garden x2, and two other rewards to make up our 6 between us. Then we'll do some GVR or RR. I don't think we're going to buy a LVA book this year, it's not looking worth it I don't think. We'll be at Platinum for most of our trip and we're likely to use their happy hour and also maybe just make our own breakfast some days. We'll also have a car so we can do RR/GVR/Sunset Station etc for some food when we're out in the car.

Can't believe it's still 5 1/2 months till our next holiday. We usually have something booked for May or June by now but I'm jobhunting and we're also hoping we get tickets in the Wimbledon Ballot so keeping our options a bit open just now.

    hi
and i so share your frustrations with regards the myvegas game! and for pretty much the same reasons!
when we went last year we did the myvegas rewards for the first time and though great! we got 2 free buffets (2 mgm buffet and 2xmirage) and i got us a 241 mandalay bay reward, my brother got us a monta carlo buffet for us so i was thinking woohooo we both have another year to save up so we can get 6 2xbuffets (6 rewards between us) which is a mega saving.
I think as far as i can see there are still two buffetsx2 the aria and monte carlo.I ve only looked at the hotels on the strip so there may be others.
i see there are reqwards for london, which may help if your down there for some days.
And i so understand your frustrations in regards the *count down*
I started annoying my brother just before xmas saying its only x days to vegas woohoo and i ve reminded him pretty much every day since!:T

Just for us , we need to get a few things sorted , the esta included and well i gotta lose quite a few of the lbs(and no not the money kind:D)
