that's reward credits so not really a fair reflection of your account status/historic play for comps. as you spend reward credits they come out of your account, so you could have earned 10,000 reward credits, spent most of them and only have 11 left. so saying you had comped nights for 11 reward credits may be misleading. Tier credits is a better view of your overall status for the year...but in the end the specifics as to what generates comps is a bit of a mystery.

Tier credits reset to zero on 1st Jan, so you could have zero tier credits and still get comped rooms based on previous play as well.

at the moment I have 938 reward credits (worth $9.38) as we spent most of them in October. I have 5,138 tier credits...though I did have some weird promo which gave me 1,000 tier credits, and some other bonus tier promos applied. I did not flat out earn 5000 tier credits one at a time this year.

It's a mystery to me how they work it out, I play the slots a little bit, but not really a big gambler, never played any card games.

My statement just says 11 Tier score which resets in Jan and 11 reward credits which expire in March, haven't used/spent any credits.

Not complaining though, and if it wasn't for the damn 'resort fee' it would have been completely free. :)

11 tier credits would be $55 coin-in at $5 per credit, so if that is all you have earned it does seem really awesome to have 4-nights comped...I'm not sure that's normal, or if there may be historic play being considered as well, but sounds like a pretty good deal! :)

I wondered why the other thread had gone quiet - didn't notice this had been opened (thanks for the headsup blindman :D )

So do people still do Social Rewards? How is it now-a-days?... it was getting 'quiet' last I looked (June'ish?)

I got my account deleted with the loss of probably $50 in credits to transfer over.

Seems as though they had recently brought in a ruling about putting random letters/numbers in FB and Twitter feeds and I got caught doing it.

In my defense they never had such a rule before but when I logged into Tracy's account there it was in big red capitals about not doing it.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I wonder if they also restricted people from sharing only with yourself.

I am able to post social rewards to my Facebook which is still set to only my Restriced friends list - of which is just myvegas friends.

The problem with social rewards is they reduced the points, so it is not as rewarding as before
  • Happy holidays to everyone !

was getting excited for our trip to vegas (22 weeks and 1 day:D) to go
I was checking the seat plans for our flights and noticed when we stop over in new york(a connection flight) instead of 3hours in the airport its now 4 hours and 40mins!!

I know it can be prob worse but is this sorta thing the norm?
Im not too experinced in the whole connection thing, but i was saying to my brother the time we will be up starting our day here in the uk, time we get to new york , we add the layover and then the flight to vegas, and getting to the hotel , getting settled in well it ll be a good 22 or so hour day !

Just a lil annoyed we lose 1 hour 40mins, a time we could use in vegas so i feel we lose a lil bit of our holiday!!
Has anyone had problems/issues like this? sorry for the rant.
  • Bear in mind you have to collect your baggage in New York, pass through Immigration, recheck your bags, pass through security......... the time in New York will not feel too long, believe me!

    hi
and thank you for the reply its just soo frusting, going from 3 hours to nearly 5 hours in the airport, i feel im losing 2 hours in vegas !!!which in turn is 2 hours less holiday .
Im travelling with united from edinburgh to new york, stoping over new york and with united from new york to vegas so im assuming my bags will be transferred automactally. but I may be wrong.
Immigration is another thing that annoys me,im sure other people get annoyed too though, just in june when we did new york/vegas (other way round next year) we were in the Immigration line and it lasted like 45mins, and i HATE waiting(im unsure if its a bad habbit or getting old or both !) and we got to the counter and we were through within 5mins.
Just when we went to new york this year we went round the bars,my brother wanted a few drinks and out of like 10 bars/food areas 9 wanted a credit/debit card payment instead of cash....i was a bit worried about either fraud and or extra oversees fees so did not want to pay via my card over there.

but thank you for the reply,:rotfl:
