No. We have used Southwest and Virgin America. They were both good, but both had delays on the way back to Vegas due to weather problems.

I too have not flown WestJet, but have flown Southwest twice. Both times everything was fine. Flying with then a 3rd time this year.

See you at the pool Lesley? :D

It's a possibility. We're at Tuscany 3-6th and haven't booked anything else yet. Our other nights are $25 at Rio midweek, $99 weekends which is vaguely interesting, but obviously still rather go to Platinum. I need to get in touch with them to see what's on offer.

It's been ages since I've been to Vegas (5 years!) but I'm subtly trying to convince the OH that we need to revisit this year. Have been reading through the threads to catch up on what we've been missing :)

Just out of curiosity, has anyone used the Global Entry service? Is it worth it? I'm a bit nervous about the interview part!

    https://www.gov.uk/government/news/expansion-of-us-global-entry-service-to-british-citizens

Yes, its very good, but several things, why do you want it? its for frequent travellers to the US. You also have to get a criminal back ground check in the uk to submit with your application which must come back No Trace, which you take to your interview. The interview is in the US, so you wouldnt be able to use GE on the trip you're going on. In vegas the interview is at the airport, so you'd have to take part of your day to go the office. Its quick and easy once you're in the interview, but was a little wait.

Unless you're going to the US 3+ times a year I probably wouldnt bother. It comes into its own in airports like JFK and MIA where there can be huge waits.
