Gave in and order some dollars at 1.44 ...OH is holding out till it gets to 1.50 (I don't think it will get that before June).Also pre booked seats but left it to late for extra leg room but at least got two seats together so none of that strangers thigh next to mine malarkey!!! 41 days and counting ....

Just as well it's NOT Vegas and just a short break I suppose.

and i believe so.Someone posted the times from facebook or somehwere maybe 5-6 pages back( added 8 hours since it was vegas time) and well i ve been trying for the last 4 weekends plus the last 5 days here with no luck, !

and not long for you , lucky so and so:beer:
Hovis91- im pretty much the point as you abeit not bite the bullet just yet, though the best rate im seeing is £1 - £1.4346 but hopefully it keeps creeping up just a lil, i worry incase it takes a big dip within the next week or two !

and glad im not alone in not liking strangers beside me on planes last year we did a new york and vegas and it was wow(first time in new york) and well booked up the reverse this year vegas-new york. and well being pretty shy at the best of times when we were heading home the guy beside me wanted to chat to me! and im thinking, to myself just leave me alone my holidays finished i gotta go to work in 4 days time.It was annoying .(my brother disagrees with me) when the strewdess came round with the meal trolley the guy was like *what do you reccommend* and im thinking gee its airoplane food its all gonna be a bit under par ,We were flying with united and in economy so it wasn't like a first class on a top airline.well thats my rant over !

I meant that I think those times are only for one week and that each week the times change (although not 100% on that)

Some people just love to chat - I find a few pleasantries then put on headphones works pretty well on stopping the chatterers On the other hand I've also had some great conversations with some really interesting people on planes too.

Sometime those chatterers are actually nervous fliers though and are looking for distraction. I bumped into a friend once at an airport and we were on the same flight-she thanked me as we landed as we'd been nattering so much it had totally distracted her from her usual fear of flying - a bit different as we knew each other already but sometimes knowing someone isn't just a talk to anyone but is nervous and you are helping them can make it less annoying.

I never used to be bothered about sitting next to someone else until "stinky gate".....we were booked in the bubble on avirgin flight and I knew I had to be in the middle.....I could smell him at the bottom of the stairs before I even went up!!!!I have NEVER smelt B.O so bad that I completely freaked out...I was retching,nearly crying,thank god I had a scarf around my neck coz I tied it around my nose(couldn't get away with that now adays!!!)The air steward was brilliant ,after take out he moved me to front row down stairs with extra leg room and admitted they were aware of how bad it was.My OH stayed up there (He has no sense of smell obviously!!).Stinky man was at the airport on the way back and all I did was give him the evil eye....imagine how bad he smelt after 7 days in 110degree heat....Jeez

Our second trip of the year has been booked, think this is the 1st time ever we have two Vegas trips being planned at the same time Our trip in May is pretty much all set. For September, we will have two nights in Vegas, then we're off to San Fran for 2 nights/ 3 days, before heading back to Sin City. It is our 10th wedding anniversary, so needed to do something a bit different.

Thinking if the Cosmo offer is available, to use this for our first 2 nights in Vegas, fly to San Fran and then return to Vegas for 7 nights. Hoping that we will get an offer for Aria sooner or later, as we've only got offers for Mirage/Excal/Luxor at the mo, that can be used for those last nights.

Bobby,Hovis, your posts had me in stitches :rotfl: We are booked In the bubble again this time as a group of 4. Me and my youngest at the very back and my older two in front of us so we will have a person on the end of each row. I'm sorry,but after reading that, I'm packing neck scarves and my own headphones, thanks Duchy Although, I too have had some really interesting conversations with people, I don't encourage them. The last time we went to Vegas, two guys on opposite seats got talking. One was going for leisure, the other a computer conference for work. The computer guy, had never been and was a bit apprehensive, saying he'd heard alsorts went on in Vegas. Leisure guy was reassuring him, everything and everyone are great. They then got on to the subject of Estas. Computer guy said at least you dont need a visa, leisure guy says oh I do,cos I've been Inside mate! You could hear a pin drop after that and not another word was said :rotfl:

I was undecided on this too. I didn't know they had got a freebie from it but thought that's what they were trying for because if I'd have been that daft I would not be admitting it to the world!

I felt sorry for them that they had been saving all that time so I tried a dummy booking to see if it was possible to get it that wrong but it clearly gives you the option of Birmingham UK or Birmingham Alabama, however if you do choose wrong at this stage when you go onto next page it just states Birmingham. Flight duration and price should have been another clue but if you have no idea of what those are then I suppose it's possible....

Let's hope they do a bit of research about Vegas before they go
