We are seeing Lionel Richie on May 4th. Let me know what questions you have and I'll try to answer them.

Anyone stayed at Death Valley? We are driving from SF to Las Vegas (end November) and using it as a stop off so no hiking needed (although we do love 'views').

Undecided between Stovepipe Wells and Furnace Creek Inn (not the big expensive resort). TIA.
    Thank you all who post.

I was just interested to hear from anyone else who'd seen the show, we travel to Vegas on the 5th and are seeing him either Sat or Sun (I can't just remember). I'm sure it'll be great, my brother has seen him but that was in the UK and he said it was a really good show.

We have stayed at furnance creek inn. It was a couple of years ago and in august and it was absolutely boiling!! It was only a one night stay but really enjoyed it.
  • A nice easy question that has probably been asked loads, and is open to personal taste so a definitive answer can never be fully reached:

    O or Le Reve?

    O or Le Reve?

O is a far more grand show, Le Reve may be less artsy and more accessible.

O would be my choice all the way, I love that show very much and we have seen it 3x - it makes me tearful, I just think it is beautiful, we saw Le Reve once and enjoyed it but have never had any interest in going again.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Cheers ferf1223.

Sorry for asking another question people, but I appreciate all replies.

We have randomly been given $345, and since we probably have too many $ anyway, can you settle a hotel bill cash?

    Yes you can.
  • Cheers pebblesmax. Phoned them up today to ask about upgrading, and asked about paying in cash whilst on the phone.

As a side point we book our flights a year ago, and booked our stay at MGM Sig on a cancellable rate. We must of rebooked it about 5 times. However, they are very near sold out now, and the current rates are nearly 3 times what we are paying.

TC are doing flight to LA again at £300.00 - 12 pm 28th to 12 pm 29th.

Looking at the my vegas rewards. It says requires one night in an MGM property. We are staying at the MGM but through Virgin. Is broker booking ok?
