P4PARKING Notice

  • I got two PCNs one from P4parking ( the one discussed in this thread) and one from G24 (which I received in the post few days ago, the driver overstayed in a store car park. Both incidents happened on the same day).
Ill read more into debt collection post and see how I feel about it. I know I've read that eventually they'll stop harassing by 6 years, I wanted to know if this would have any impact on my credit report/history?

    None at all.

For damage to credit rating the original creditor (not the debt collection company, they are a third party) needs to 1. take you to court, 2. win, 3. you ignore the judgement and fail to pay within 28 days.

None of those will happen at this point.

  • Hey guys, Just a little update.
I am just going to appeal my P4PARKING PCN soon.
On the other hand G42 PCN has been waived (2nd PCN that I received, this thread is not about G24 if anyone is searching).
I will make a new thread soon explaining the G24 Appeal.

  • Hello!

So my appeal was rejected and now in going to appeal to POPLA. When should I make this appeal? They have asked me to pay within 14 days and it says I can appeal within 28 days to POPLA. I haven't received notice to keeper yet.

Forget the 14 days because you are not paying. Obviously you appeal within the 28 days and calculate when the 56 days is up from the date of the PCN. Once past that they can't issue a NTK and you will win as long as you argue that well to POPLA!

Show us your POPLA draft appeal based upon the examples in the NEWBIES thread post #3.

  • Alright, thanks for letting me know. Will definitely show the draft before sending it through.
  • Helloh all
Its nearly time I sent in my POPLA appeal. Just a few questions, I did receive pictures attached to the decision from P4parking, am I supposed to do anything with them. What does rebutting them mean. Secondly haven't received NTK is been more than 56 days now.
  • I was just reading the rejection letter from p4parking, firstly they have the dates wrong
    - the date I sent the appeal to them
    - the date they wrote the rejection letter
Both have been mentioned on the letter.

Secondly they write " as the driver its your. ...." I have appealed as the keeper of the car! They are making assumptions.
