I'd be happy enough with cheese on toast for Christmas dinner to be honest. We have a busy day ahead as even though it's just the two of us (and the cat) we're also cat-sitting, so need to time dinner between visits to feed those cats  Mr Mooo doesn't believe cheese on toast to be dinner, so he certainly won't entertain it for Christmas0 -
Morning all
It's the last day of the working year for me :j:j:j
I am heading in to work early as I have a lot of bits and pieces to finish up. There's still a bunch of other stuff to do today though, so I should probably make a list:
- Dishes
- Buy something for Christmas dinner! (Probably from Lidl as there's one near my office)
- Take return to Post Office to send back to Amazon
- Tidy living room
- Change bedclothes on our bed
- Clean bathroom
- Put away clean washing
- Hoover the house (Note, this is still on the list from the weekend!)
- Make a doctor's appointment for Mr Mooo or he'll be without medication over Christmas
Budgets that matter are looking ok:
Groceries: £63.11
Christmas: £60.17 (All presents now bought, so I'll use this to get the Christmas dinner/treats)

Merry Christmas one and all :xmassign:
I hope Santa was as good to all of you as he was to me, I've been very lucky.
I've done a little light sales shopping to try and get a head start on next year (I know, madness!) so my Christmas budget is at £28.38. I'm nipping to the supermarket shortly to get bread - the one thing we always run out of! I'll see if there's anything nice in their reductions too.
I think I've now plugged all my receipts from the last few days into YNAB and have a good idea of the budget for the rest of the week - it's pretty restrained :rotfl: I've got a good amount of food in though so any trip to the shops will be minimal.
Plans for the day are to start catching up on my Open University study as I haven't done any for a couple of weeks and have an essay due on the 6th :eek:0 -

Lovely to see you back - I was only reading your last thread the other day to find the freezer inventory sheet link (and did!)
Me too on the sales shopping for next year, can never start too early.
