Check virgin mob, I'm sure they will receive incoming calls without top-up/registration.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0 -
You can bar outgoing calls using the mobile network with many phones this can be done via phone menus but the instruction code (*33*barringcode*11# then press call) may work. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Assuming an old 'dumb' phone with physical keypad, remove all programmed numbers from Contacts and then paint over or glue up the numbers so she can't dial out. Just leave the 'incoming call accept' button functioning.
Or you could just stop accepting her incoming calls at work and other unsuitable times? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
What chargeable 'incoming' events are there except premium texts?
Sorry
Doesn't an incoming call to a mobile get charged to the caller? And the caller's provider then passes some of that payment to the receiving network.
I know that you keep telling me that I'm lucky to have had a Three PAYG phone without any credit on it for a number of years now, but it still works so I assume (a s s-u-me) that the incoming calls that it gets are being logged by Three as a chargeable event.

Chargeable means that you have to be charged.I know that you keep telling me that I'm lucky to have had a Three PAYG phone without any credit on it for a number of years now, but it still works so I assume (a s s-u-me) that the incoming calls that it gets are being logged by Three as a chargeable event.

OK, thanks for all the ideas, have suggested getting the Doro phone and not programing the buttons. As to a sim, peopl keep suggesting Virgin but when I contacted them they said that with a free PAYG you have to put a minimum of £10 to choose the package.0

And, I think, the SIM is impossible to change or doesn't even exist as numbers are programmed not in the handset.0 -

Any use above 100MB will be charged at £1 per 100MB thereafterSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies...
