So before buying from overseas, check the UK bargains first!
yes, £2 is very cheap, but you have to consider a) who made the shirts b) how many have been made. if you're happy wearing 'disposable' clothes, manufactured for pence in the developing world, that look just like what everyone else on the high street is wearing, then buy from primark. i prefer to buy from a reputable site that allows independent artists a way to sell their designs to the general public.
believe me, nothing at primark is 'funky'.0 -

Quirky and mostly unique tees, great quality, and cracking value.
Remember not to buy more than three in any one order to minimise chance of picking up an import duty bill. I've got about 6 already, time to add to the collection.
Official insert from the MSE team:
If you're planning to order T-shirts from Threadless, do bear in mind that you may be charged import duty on them, and that you'll be paying for postage to the UK. The latter however is very reasonable, especially if you club together with friends and put one large order together.
Given the current exchange rate this is a great deal, as the shirts are well-designed and often funny - just don't buy too many!
Surely you just contradicted yourself with the import duty and reasonable clubbing statement.0 -
The second part of the post is the official MSE team not the poster!Who needs a sig!!! :rotfl:0

"We do WHAT?" (Bird to bee) to give as Xmas pressies.
I know the person that suplimented that design. Been tempted to send some ideas in myself - just never got round to it. If I do though I'll let you all know - now that I know MSE's like threadless.
used threadless for a good while now. most comments on here seem to be accurate: 1, sizes can be erratic, 2, quality is not heavy/thick but it does tend to last, 3, they are cheap and cheerful (well not always too cheerful - I bought the 'Departure' tee a couple of years back - great design and always draws attention to read - luckily I'm a guy so don't mind people looking at my chest too much lol)"The future needs a big kiss"0 -
Last day of the sale, I think.0

Just ordered 4 t-shirts, hopefully Customs will be kind (only ever been charged more once before, for some aftershave from Hong Kong I bought on ebay). The t-shirts look great, can't wait to get them0

How long do they take to arrive in the uk from time of order roughly speaking?0

I didn't just buy 7...
But I am a big fan of threadless and have used them for over a year nowThey are the main tshirts I wear.
ps. 4 are gifts for matesStudent Moneysaving Expert :beer:0 -
pamaho: Really varies. I've had shirts arrive in just over a week, while others have taken up to 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. During a sale it takes a little longer.
Doesn't really matter though, unless you're buying it for a specific occasion like a birthday.
I am OFFICIALLY done shopping. They released a new batch of shirts today just for the one extra day of sale, and I picked up 3 more. Last count, 19 shirts (and membership to the 12 Month Club, which gives you a shirt every month for a year).

Bad moneysavingexpert! Bad!
The threadless site is addictive - though I have finally managed to trim the cart down to 2 orders of 3 t-shirts from an initial list of 15...0
