threadless.com $10 t-shirt sale back on

http://www.threadless.com

Quirky and mostly unique tees, great quality, and cracking value.

Remember not to buy more than three in any one order to minimise chance of picking up an import duty bill. I've got about 6 already, time to add to the collection. :)

Official insert from the MSE team:

If you're planning to order T-shirts from Threadless, do bear in mind that you may be charged import duty on them, and that you'll be paying for postage to the UK. The latter however is very reasonable, especially if you club together with friends and put one large order together.

Given the current exchange rate this is a great deal, as the shirts are well-designed and often funny - just don't buy too many!

Horrifically, I already own 29 of these t-shirts. I bought 2 more last week.... and 9 yesterday. And I'm STILL browsing.

Not very MS I know, but.... gosh they're awesome shirts.

Take a look quick - these shirts go VERY quickly.

You bought 9 yesterday? I thought I was bad for ordering 5 in the last week.
    They're fabulous though aren't they?

By the way, for anyone who's interested, 3 t shirts including shipping to the Uk costs $43.89 and my bank (Lloyds) charges a £1.00 overseas transaction fee too, not sure if this applies to all banks.
  • Cheers. Got 3 t shirts for $41.30.

I chose Communist Party (!) :), Hidden, and Marshmallow - the look on that unicorn's face is PRICELESS :)

Don't forget to take photos of yourself wearing the shirts! Every photo that you send in gets you $1.50 in store credit. These things add up very quickly.

The nine shirts I've just bought:

    Dinner In The Sky
    Anthill Trap
    Defend The Kingdom
Some Choices Are Just Out Of Reach
    Funkalicious
    Strength In Numbers
Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places
Lions Are Smarter Than I am
    Quack Attack

Some shirts were released yesterday and have already sold out in most sizes.

Libertine: Communist Party is one of the bestsellers on that site. I've got one myself :-)
  • What are the quality like?

gifteddante: Not too bad. The men's shirts are Fruit of the Loom, and the women's are American Apparel.

Sizing CAN get a little erratic - brown, burgundy and sagestone tend to be bigger on me than black and gold, and the designs do fade a little if you hotwash/tumbledry it to shrink the shirts. But on the other hand, during a sale, we're looking at around £6-7 a shirt for designs that are really very, very good.
  • Cheers for that! - Ordered 4, 3 for me 1 for OH!

Do be careful though - because I ordered four shirts recently and got stung on the customs charge £12.50 . not good _pale_

but they are truely ace shirts
It's better to travel hopefully than arrive...
  • They seem cool, but they arent cheap!

a fiver a shirt doesn't seem bad, I know you have to add shipping but considering you can pay £15 - £20 for quirky t-shirts in the UK its pretty good

Thanks to Ka7e for their post over on the great buy now from the US thread for bring the offer to my attention
