I know I should, but I don't........not even buildings insurance.
I always used to say that if someone broke into my house, they would feel sorry for us and leave us some furniture!:o:o:o
If there was a fire you would need to rebuild the house! Assuming you have a mortgage and you live in a house not flat, building insurance is essential.
If nothing else, go through quidco/ tcb and pick one with the cheapest premium and/or highest cashback, but get something in place.that is not MSE, that is plain silly ! If you have a mortgage, I believe you are breaching the terms without buildings insurance at minimum (and could have your house repossessed if they found out?) - and whether mortgaged or not, if it burned down you would not be able to replace it or anything in it!
False economy I am afraid, in my opnion. There are generally some good deals when you take into account TCB/QC cashback alongside any deals.
And we never leave our door unlocked either - it is habit to lock it when in (partly to stop little Anon's escaping but also to stop sneak thieves - these are not safe times to leave your door unlocked).
