Savvy, you need to watch it. The story line is good, if not a little morbid. But there are bums, boobs and lady/man bits all over the place, and I have never heard the C word so much in my life! I am a prude... but an addicted prude!!!

For those who have watched it.... [censored:D] :(

Sounds like I will love it - absolutely fantastic! (I know I will annoy somebody by saying that in that regard - there was someone at work that I could never even say I liked it as that would annoy her immensely so I didn't - but, here, I don't care:p:rotfl:.)

Argh:(, you didn't need to go and reveal a main point in the story like that (should have put "Spoiler" before it) but it's alright with me as I'm not bothered by knowing things in advance - I think "spoilers" are things that neuro-typicals like to avoid whereas I usually want to know otherwise 'secret' things in advance and for things to be (supposedly) "spoiled"! I just like spoiling things for others:rotfl:. It's those BBFC and television warnings that, for me, are the real spoilers that I want not to have:rotfl:! (And they don't actually warn of anything that does turn out in the event to bother me - I've been caught out by things before (not very often, but it has happened) that they haven't mentioned at all, so some warnings are useless and ineffective. They mention one thing and draw attention to that but fail to mention something else and have now diverted away from it onto what they felt need to be advised about, that the thing that actually bothers me, that they didn't mention at all, then catches me out unawares. Actually I think this is more me having a bit of a rational argument about their system:rotfl::rotfl:.) Anyway, I almost never get any plotlines from TV programmes or films that I watch as my brain doesn't see overall context or work it out like way - it's always been that way - but instead I see little details:D:rotfl:. So I probably just get the fact the word was repeated throughout and nothing else:o:o:rotfl::T:rotfl::rotfl:.

I was going to post something substantive, but it's such a change of topic now that I feel it is best for a new post.:)

:hello:Well I didn't expect that I'd be doing any glitches today (- I wasn't even aware the shops were open:o:o:rotfl:) - they caught me a bit offguard, as usual:o:rotfl:, but I managed to do three separate shops in the final hour of trading.

I thought I was buying Muller Light Citrus, but it's turned out to be Peach & Pineapple but it still worked:rotfl:.

    1x Muller Light Peach & Pineapple (6X175G) £3.88 £2.00
1x Muller Light Red Fruit Fat Free Yogurt (6X175G) £3.88 £2.00

    Vs Sains.
1x MAOAM Sour Giant Stripes Cola & Lemon Flavour (1PK)£0.10N/A:(:rotfl:

    Morrisons and T 10p.

I know the Muller Lights are showing £2 on msm for M (thanks Sal for alerting me to the fact this was not working against M and switching me to vs S - although S have put up the price of the Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes:mad: - it's already gone up on msm so I didn't risk them. Got some earlier anyway). I think M have had a price changeover, probably yesterday, but the APG is on Wednesday. It's a shame the Fray Bentos pies don't seem to be comparing to M at £1. I note they are showing £1 for M on msm but I did not have these at £1 on Wednesday.

So they'll miss all the changes and I think if anyone is planning shopping against M, it's best to PM me (whenever I clear out my inbox:o:o) and ask whether I had whatever you wanted at whatever price on Wednesday - until I get round to updating my list!

A have offered conditional spends in the past too....didn't we have a spate of £5 wys £40 a couple of years back?

Perhaps they will just look at branded goods......who knows......but they must realise that they are being unnecessarily generous in comparison to the rest.
Their system would be more generous if everyone used it and they must have tested sample receipts to see how much it would cost them if they left the terms and conditions unchanged but issued at point of sale or deducted from bill.

Therefore it will change in a way that will promote it to reach more people.Much less generous I'm sure.

My understanding was that the £5 off £40 was devised by a person who left A several years ago so wasn't going to return. And it hasn't returned so far.

It would be a shame if they just went to comparing branded goods - I'd have thought a major selling point of their current scheme is that they are now the only place that is comparing own label! That could be promoted more to get people to shop at A. However I suspect it doesn't matter at all - the stores just pretend it does - as people shop at their nearest store regardless of which store it is! Does anyone really shop elsewhere because of a price scheme? Apart from us minority on here seeking to take advantage from it.

Supervisor told me they were stopping APG early 2016 a few weeks ago. Never heard anything since. Did not believe her at the time as she was miserable.

I don't know as my SA (although she was not of supervisor level) didn't know anything was happening the other week. So I doubt anyone knows anything at store level. I'm interested though as to whether she was miserable because of her tone? Or was it some body language that told you? I could never tell:rotfl:. We have this review in the "first quarter" of what is now this year so, there wouldn't be any immediate change as far as I can tell but instead it will await the outcome.

I thought several years ago that they might get rid of the 10%, but, despite me keeping claiming lots of vouchers and doing target shops and getting refunded via HQ when they didn't pick up competitor's prices, they still continued it. They must have figured that, overall, most customers do not check the APG so that, overall, it is still worth it for them. Of the millions of transactions a year, it's a small percentage that ever get an APG check and a smaller number still (although we know they usually aren't 10% cheaper:rotfl:) that see them giving a voucher. The whole point, for them, is to "see how much they've saved" - which is to prove how much cheaper A is! Due to people buying what looks good price instore. But then A can always fall back on the "well, if we're not then we'll give the difference anyway" so will still work out cheaper for you!
