Half my chicken run is flooded

MG has got the car and the local pet shop where I normally buy all my hay and straw is closed until next week. I've had to temporarily sort it out with sawdust, which the girls then proceeded to dig through *sigh*

He's off tomorrow so the first task is to go and get some stuff that'll do it properly. Nine months since we got them and this is the first time their run has flooded out :(

Hope they going to be ok poor little darlings.

    the cost is insane.
I would pay it in a heartbeat if it was one of mine. Did you have insurance hun?

Hi it's my sons cat and although he has a coverplan with the vet he luckily got him insured last July with Tesco. Both him and i are glad he did this believe me. :o

I have quite a bad feeling about this, I am getting no response from Nationwide rewards and it feels like I am being fobbed off - but its £25 so its not an insignificant amount so I will keep nagging at them

this months bill went through today and it was another gob snacking one so another £25 off would have been good ..

Hi mhoc as long as you did this correctly as I'm sure you did, there is no way it should fail and you should get your £25 sometime soon. I would keep on at them too.

    Afternoon all

Seen GP this morning and thankfully there was nothing obviously nasty on chest xray. She's still not happy with my breathing and the frequency of chest infections so I'm being referred to the respiratory clinic. Have my 6 month follow up appt next month too so will get that Cons input.

Been and picked up my Ts direct order and had a mooch around. Too early and far too busy for decent reductions. Had more chocolates RTC but I managed to resist them as I really don't need any more.

Off to bed now as starting nights tonight. Hope you all have a fab New Year if I don't get back on before

Thats great news there was nothing untoward on the xray Logie. Hope they can get your chest infections under control. Happy New Year.

Thank you Poppy still asleep think I tired her out.

I have learnt to bite my tongue with mum or I am afraid we wouldn't be speaking .

She asked when I was next going to Mr T and I replied I have been this week so probably in a couple weeks ;) I wont be going this week no need.

You're far nicer than I would be tweets. I wouldn't be able to bite my tongue, and if my mother stopped talking to me, then so be it (in fact I did have a to do with her a few years ago and we now only communicate by email or facebook message, but thats a different story!).

I hope it works too :)

They look quite wretched where they've constantly had their heads in the water  their feet were proper filthy but digging through the sawdust seems to have cleaned their feet lovely :D

I can imagine them sitting on their perches tonight giving each other pedicures :D

    Hi all :)
Just back from a few days away visiting family. Haven't had a chance to pick up my B00ts orders yet, but 2 x goodwill points were added overnight, so I guess that there's no chance of another few thousand sneaking through after I collect them. I will be returning them for a refund, well done to those who slipped through the net x

Needless to say 5 o'clock came and went and the amount did not go in and I heard nothing back from nationwide so they were fobbing me off. I will keep plugging away
