The multi offer appears to be missing for the pull up pants and Johnsons baby (offer ending today) but should still work in store - NOT TESTED though :)

Mix and match baby oils 2 for £2
    http://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls86780

Pull up pants 2 for £7 starts 25/11
    http://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls86754

One or two quite good comparisons for the larger size pull ups. Some are £5.18 in Asda v £2.66 in Waitrose.

Hi Izzeyb, firstly thanks for posting these, can you explain how you found these, are you finding this all out online or going instore to check offers etc?

Oh FC I just feel so blazing mad for you - it was bad enough when it was just loitering in your blood but then it has to go off and start a new colony elsewhere ..

I expect now that you are going to be poked and prodded and tested in every direction while they see if its wondered off anywhere else, yet more appointments, pain and indignity and that makes me cross as well

This is all moving so fast- I know when it all started you were classed as 0 on the Richter scale - have you been upgraded/downgraded now or is that not how it works?

It puts my miserable cold into perspective

On the face of the initial blood and bone marrow tests it didn't look that bad. Since then I've had a constant run of more in depth tests and I'm booked in for a whole body MRI next week.
I didn't write about it on here because I was absolutely terrified at the time but not long after I was diagnosed I had numbness in face and visual disturbance in one eye. That turned out to be a tumour just under one of my eyes which I had 5 weeks of successful radiotherapy for. I'm having the same again on my neck and shoulders this time.

I reckon I'm due a break so hopefully the big scan next week wont throw up anything else. I'm learning very fast not to ignore aches and pains or things that I'd usually just shrug off. I've also given in and accepted some pain medication which I'd resisted up until now.

I meant to congratulate you on the upcoming nuptials. How exciting :D I'll look forward to reading your account of it in the run up.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. Squigs, we can meet up after I get this scan out of the way next week. I promise not to wear my blue latex gloves like I did yesterday when I took the kids out to the arcades :rotfl: I've ran out of normal coloured ones but wasn't prepared to be handling filthy money.
  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Wednesday.

    Happy shopping.

FC I am so sorry to hear you are in more pain. I hope you are getting adequate pain relief and you have managed to sleep.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Hi FC, just read about your situation, i feel for you. I hope all the treatments work but this sounds like stage 4? where the cancer is migrating?
