  • Good morning. Hope everyone is ok.
Windy as anything here this morning. Outside not inside :D
The weather looks atrocious elsewhere though, please stay safe if you are in the affected areas.

Thank you TS for the heads up on the prosecco it is in stock for me this morning.
I have been awarded 4 lots of points between 500-600 although I placed 10 orders so who knows what is going on? Five of the orders are now ready for collection but I will wait until they are all ready.
Stinky I'm sorry it didn't work for you.

Thanks hun. I do have a small update. I've had 1220 goodwill points added on. It's the exact amount I should have recieved with my orders though so it's hardly goodwill. It's what they owed me.

Oh FC so very very sorry to hear your news.

I know how powerful our minds can be and the benefits of positive thinking. I hope you can harness that strength of character you have within you to give this blooming disease a huge kick up the backside.
Sending you my very best wishes x

We all like truths on here. So here is my truth.

I promised my OH I'd contact my clinic after the holidays as I was in a lot of pain. tears and snot type of pain. So I rang today and was asked to come in to get checked out. I had an MRI scan on my painful parts and the result is my cancer has decided to move into my spinal cord. very nice of it too :p

    Morning all

Please can I have a rant before I start, put me on ignore until I calm down :D - yes I am late this morning and the black currant lemsip this morning is tasteless as well as cold.

Firstly I hate this wind which has been bashing around all night, it was like trying to sleep in a washtub, my nerves are beyond shredded. I don't think Sophie cat is much better as she is asleep on my feet, most unusual

secondly Oh and youngest son were trying to do something involving phones, backing up and iTunes last night on the main computer and in the process OH left my desk in a ransacked state  when I first looked at it this morning I thought we actually had had burglars in and my stomach did a flip, you automatically start thinking what sensitive things had been moved.
So OH has been sent a cross email, I don't go into his office and mess his desk up.

I have honestly been very calm and serene in the midst if this chaos - youngest son is back from Hong Kong for a week so him and his mate went up to the lakes and brought back yet another van load of his gear - he only had the smallest room, the under stair cupboard, space in the kitchen and outhouse in his shared house plus storage at work but so far he has brought back 2 cars and a van load of kit and it has exploded all over the house, his room was floor to ceiling but random boxes of stuff are all over the house.
He has been sorting through it all for most of the last 2 days but it is not getting any better and I don't think it will be by the time he goes back to Hk

At least I had my desk as sanctuary, the one clean tidy space that was mine but even that was taken over last night

    Waitrose this morning:

Lynx gift set - £1.25 (they only had Africa, not sure if they stock any others) - thanks Tiny Shoes/Hot UK Deals
Sweet Shop Tin 750g - £1.25 (was £2.50 the other day)
    Ferrero Rocher Pyramid 350g - £2.20
    Cadbury's Occasions 245g - 75p
    Swizzels Love Hearts tube 108g - 25p
Thorntons the Snowman Crispy Chocolate Snow Balls - 25p
Christmas Waitrose Christmas Selection Box 800g (box of chocs bit like Quality Street, but I think nicer) - £1.25

They had the Lindor 200g box at £1.22 but it is only the Orange flavour that is reduced - think this was Tiny Shoes again, but cant find post now :)

They didnt have any McVities Victoria Biscuits or Family Circle left, but member of staff doing the reductions thought they would be half price which would make the Mcvities £1.25 now and the Family Circle 75p, if you can find them.

They also have their own Christmas Cake making kit, was reduced to £5 but is now £2.50.

Anyone with coupons, the Covent Garden Soup is now £1.05 in Waitrose.

Asda this morning - their Christmas Chocolate Yule log 40p from £3 (has today's date though).
