I watched that video, but I found it quite odd. The ferrero all the looked weird like they had been melted and reformed. Also all the wrapping on them looked like they had been opened and wrapped.

I noticed that, they are on my list...... when I get to shop!
    Afternoon.

Interesting evening for me last night. DD17 and DS18 went to an 18th birthday party (her boyfriend, who happens to be DS best friend). Of course, the inevitable happened DD was bought drinks and at 10.15 (she only got there at 7.30!) my son was ringing me to see if I could collect her as she had been sick everywhere and was lying in a puddle of it.

I couldn't, as had had 2 glasses of wine. DS tried his Dad but he was out on his christmas works do. Then rang me back to say they'd found a lift and he would come back with her, then go back.

Boyfriends Mum sat in the back of the car with her holding a black bag to be sick in. Another family member was driving. She couldn't get out the car and DS basically got her out and carried her to her room (we live in a 3 storey house). Put her to bed, gave her a sick bowl, then went back to the party. :o

I was so embarassed, shes been with her boyfriend a while now but it was the first time I had met his Mum. She was absolutely lovely, I was mortified and kept apologising, she told me not to worry and everyone had been there! :rotfl:

Terrible nights sleep as I kept going up to check on her. She woke up at the crack of dawn, right as rain, no hangover. Came and apologised to me, gave me a hug, and when I told her that her room was a disgrace and she wasn't leaving the house until she'd sorted it (she is going over to boyfriends today) she cheerfully got on with it!

DS also managed to drink lots, not be sick and remain sensible, and even texted me when he got in to say he was home (although I heard him!). Not sure how I would have managed to get her upstairs without him, think she would have been sleeping on the tiled floor downstairs! :rotfl:

Hope its taught her a lesson, she absolutely hates being sick so hopefully will put her off drinking so much again. :D

Poor you, been there with both mine, ds propped up on the front wall by his friends parents, I was mortified when I collected him and dd has had a couple of incidents and yes I very nearly did leave her on the downstairs bathroom floor :D, oh to be young and stupid again :)

Bless her, hopefully it has put her off jagherbombs for life!

Today's Amex run is a 5 mile walk to a pub where I can get 3 pints for a bit over £10 - a bit over £5 for you young man lol - followed by a 5 mile walk home, watch footy with my Pringles Sky Sports pass, retire gracefully about 10pm :)

Mine was Superdrug to stock up on blades and shaving gel for DH plus toothbrush heads.

Tweets, good morning. May I just ask why the Dorset cereal comp is no longer on the list? Have I missed something?
Really appreciate having all these comps in one place, thank you. x

Yes you may ask why the cereal comp isn't being posted..

I tried everyday last week to get onto the Dorset cereal comp and it wouldn't open . No one said anything but I tried on 3 different browsers Edge , Google Chrome and Internet Explorer and thought it had finished so deleted it. If its still working and someone sends me link I will re add it for tomorrow ;)

I haven't been posting Yeo Valley they say Our fruit machine is taking a short break so I will post when its up and running again :D

Uniform - I almost forgot the stout hard-wearing flat black lace ups and the 'house shoes' we had to change into on arrival in school. And the cookery aprons we had to make in needlework.
Oh we did those too. White with a yellow gingham trim and we had to embroider our names on in red.

Man U v Bournemouth 5.30pm today, Aston Villa v Arsenal 13.30 tomorrow, followed by Spurs v Newcastle Ytd 16.00.

Put those Pringles seals to good use & watch for free :)

If you time activation right, you can get to see 95% (ie NowTV lasts 24 hrs).

I think I'd rather miss a few minutes of the Spurs match, it'll be on the radio anyway.

I don't need to buy fattening pringles to watch my lads for free.

I will be watching them free on my laptop :T
  • Anyone else still waiting for the Tesco & Morrisons £10 gift cards from the Sun? I seem to have waited long enough!

It's a learning curve,:D, I am fine really HB up from 65 to 74, so not exactly full of energy as you will know but looking forward to Christmas and hopefully no dramas, you seem to be on the slow road but heading in right direction now, hopefully no diversions for you either, take care:)

Thats good to hear. I think I am taking both the slow and the scenic route to recovery! Hopefully next dye test on 4th Jan will show leak has healed, catheters can come out and I can finally get back to normal (whatever that is, I seem to have forgotten!). :)

I didn't do the Tesco one but haven't received Morrisons yet.

I know 4 people that sent for Tesco and Morrisons vouchers.
One of them was me , I received 1 Morries and my sister did too.
Thats 6 out of 8 that have not arrived , I don't think they will now.
Bit of a con I think.
Shall we start a list ?
