We had Bratt and Dykes in Stafford but my mother never took us there, too expensive.
She took us to C&As in Wolverhampton and I am assuming we went on the train - I never knew why we never went to Birmingham
She didn't like escalators and passed this fear onto me
My mum used to take us to C&A s in Liverpool . She also had a fear of escalators mind you there are some cracking ones there. Don't bother me though0 -
