We have an american style samsung fridge/ freezer that had a design fault. It is side by side not like yours, but it was very annoying when it failed and we had a fridge full to eat up before they fixed it.
Mine packed up twice and they fixed it. When it went wrong the third time they replaced it totally free of charge. Mind you, they !!!! themselves in the foot by admitting that some of the same model had caught fire and caused house fires !!!
The replacement had gone wrong once ( and cost me £120 to fix) but, after nearly 10 years I reckon I am winning.ELITE 5:2

Morrisons - most of the 1L alcohol bottles are off (only branded one at £15 now is Green Mark Vodka), the Holland's frozen packs of 4 pies that were £1.41 have gone to 2 for £4, the McCain Micro Chips (both types) are off, and the Young's Admiral's/Mariners Pies (were 2 for £1 last week) are now each straight £1.27:eek:. A couple of bakery items have gone to prices higher than I've ever seen before. Oven Bottom Muffins now 62p:( and Stephenson's Fruited Teacakes:eek: now 65p:eek::eek:. Definitely only having them on whoopsies from now on in.
There are now some vegetables "offers" in M that, in normal times, would look quite good. However, with cheap prices on potatoes, sprouts, carrots and parsnips packs available elsewhere, the M offers I'm afraid don't even match those prices. Fwiw, Brussel Sprouts 750g are on 2 for £1, but same size packs are/have been 39p in Aldi and Lidl. Carrots 2Kg (a fairly new size in M) 2 for £1 but 1kg have been 22p in Lidl. Parsnips 750g also 2 for £1, but 39p elsewhere! I forget where we're currently buying parsnips from:rotfl:. (I'm sure the answer is on my now-little-bit-old Lidl list.) White Potatoes 2.5Kg in A (and must be vs T) are 39p but, fwiw, if it really must be Maris Piper potatoes then Maris Piper Potatoes 2.5Kg are 2 for £1 in M. That would only be better than Aldi on weight (2kg 39p there) if they compare correctly on Avs M - purely the 10% cheaper would make them, technically, a little bit cheaper and note I had problems with them on a womble last week even getting the then new straight £1 price. I think, if it really must be Maris Piper and no other potatoes will do for you:wall:, then just buy in Aldi as the difference in price is so little as to be hardly worth it.
However, if you need a lot of onions, M's Brown Onions packs (2kg) are £1 bogo'f', supposedly until tomorrow only. That is 25p per kg, which in fact beats Lidl's weekend special from quite a while ago. However, you must buy the bogo'f' to get that pricing and it is quite a lot of onions!
More, of course, on the M lists themselves as soon as possible.0 -
