we live in fear and dread.

mine has been in Asda - very classy - he has bought 2 things at £4.65 - I wonder if its one thing he has paid for twice.
otherwise its a very expensive over priced card which annoys me.

also something else for about £18

wish I could figure out what he has bought.

he used the debit card instead of the credit card - I still cant get him to understand the difference between the 2.
So the balance in the current account dropped and as I was out all of yesterday I knew it was not me.

I was in Asda on Saturday but he sat in the car so he did not come with me into store or go and check anything out

Needless to say I bought my own present to wrap but as its likely to be a far better thing than what he has bought for £18 in asda then I really cant wrap and give it to him to give it to me on Christmas morning - or can I?

I'd better go and wrap his present now :D
i bought all my own prezzies from my hubby this year :o some in new york & some here but i'll make him wrap them :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Must be down to the dentist, I hadn't been to mine for a long time and I was still on the list.

Mine booted me off their books 3 months ago, because I was one week over the 6 month check up limit! I've been with them for 26 years, you'd think they'd allow me a week. I asked to go back on the list and they said it would take a year to get back on

This month I've got a new dentist so had all the check ups, a proper teeth clean etc. I received a call from them last Friday informing me that I owed them £40 for services not paid. The receptionist was so snooty she accused me of walking out without paying on the day she wasn't working. Thankfully I paid by card and traced all my transactions, told them on the phone this and she stumbled and said it was for an xray I had done during the check up. I replied 'that's included under the band 1 treatment/consultation, if it was additional why didn't you tell me at the time'. She stumbled again and said she'd get back to me and I haven't heard from them since :rotfl:

I think if she calls again telling me I haven't paid I might tell her to knob off.

But I would eat them, and I am currently under 11 stone and size 1012 for the first time in years:eek::eek:

I intend to insist on phones being turned off when the kids come round at Christmas for meals, even though myself and oh are both getting new ones. My son''s fiancee is a real pain with hers so the first thing the grandkids are after when they get here are electronic devices or the TV', none of which will be on for Christmas dinner or tea on Monday when kids and grandkids are coming.

I think we are going to have to have a similar rule - some sort of amnesty of the apple devices at least while food is on the table being eaten

this morning we were trying to do a count up
    4 iphones of various types
    3 ipads
    1 mini ipad
OHs work phone - he is on call so he cant switch it off
    OHS - Samsung
    OHs - lenova
    OHs - kindle

the apples are the worst as they all have the same pings so people are always looking for their phones and ipads to check messages.

Eldest child constantly messages BF and I imagine that eldest son and his GF, even sat next to eat other on the sofa or at the table will be sending messages ...
