do you trust him to wrap things properly and not make everything look like a sack of badly shaped potatoes
Years ago, a guy I was seeing at the time asked me to wrap his presents for his adult children, he said he thought I'd make a much better job of it.
As I got the wrap, tape, ribbons and bows out, he warned me not to make too good a job of it because then they would know he hadn't done it himself.
Needless to say I quit, and let him get on with it all alone. :rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I'm back from the dark side
Star Wars was great this morning :cool::cool::cool::cool:
i watched it in 3d last night, paid £5 ish for the 2 of us thanks to tictac. £25 otherwise
anyway, i was disappointed in it as i thought the originals had a far better story line. but glad you enjoyed it.0 -
Well Santa won't be coming for mr TM. His new bike which should have arrived in November...and didn't......and then promised for Christmas, will now not be delivered until February. German engineering at its very worst:o

we live in fear and dread.
mine has been in Asda - very classy - he has bought 2 things at £4.65 - I wonder if its one thing he has paid for twice.
otherwise its a very expensive over priced card which annoys me.
also something else for about £18
wish I could figure out what he has bought.
he used the debit card instead of the credit card - I still cant get him to understand the difference between the 2.
So the balance in the current account dropped and as I was out all of yesterday I knew it was not me.
I was in Asda on Saturday but he sat in the car so he did not come with me into store or go and check anything out
Needless to say I bought my own present to wrap but as its likely to be a far better thing than what he has bought for £18 in asda then I really cant wrap and give it to him to give it to me on Christmas morning - or can I?
I'd better go and wrap his present now
Maybe it was something for £18 that uses batteries - and he bought 2 sets of batteries in case you used up the first ones quite quickly.
Or actually, maybe that was that the purchases from Ann Summers, not Asda ...

from memory from the original hukd posts, i think the free way only lasts for 1 month, a lot less messing about to just pay a few pounds like nerfy did i think.0 -

Did you melt the butter into the syrup first and add it whilst still warm?
First time I melted chocolate first, then added butter and syrup when it was melted.
Second time after consulting google I melted (well, started!) butter then added chocolate. Was going to leave the syrup as thought that had made it seize the first time, but clearly not.Did you put the butter and chocolate and syrup all in the bowl over a pan of hot water to melt it? I think it all has to be at the same temperature to stop the chocolate seizing.
See above, but thank you!cheer1eader wrote: »evening
