If you feel you are ready for it, then yes do give another rescue dog a good home. As you are well aware, there are so so many rescue dogs looking for a home, so if you are willing and able to give one a home, that would be a good thing.

I had a friend who swore when she lost her dog that she would never be able to have another one, I knew then that within a fortnight she would have another rescue dog, and she did.

Just one thought though, could you wait till after Christmas? There will be so many puppies rejected over Christmas that will need a home

Paddy "no eyes" fell asleep in his bed a few hours ago and he is now resting in peace in the orchard.

My boys have not had pizza for ages as they got fed up of the free ones, tonight they asked for pizza, first bite ds3 hurts his mouth on something , it was a screw embedded in the base. Now they don't want pizza again.:o
