Through the light hearted banter, you work long hours. Enjoy your day off, albeit Christmas Day.

Thanks. Forgive my rudeness... for not asking... how's you? :p

I think harryhpf doesn't use the PM (private message) facility, so no point sending him any messages as he won't read them.

tweets was talking about lives (turns) on candy crush that she had sent and/or received.

Thank you, silvercar! I was also confused because I got quoted in the middle of all this. I got the PM bit but as I don't do candy crush, I got totally lost when tweets started talking about lives. Thank you!

Sadly not, tickets very difficult to come by these days. My days of following them round the country (and even one memorable season into Europe) were during the real golden era in the 1980s. More of an armchair supporter now, though if you offered me a ticket I'd bite your hand off :D

Sounds like it was the same era that I followed them - Elton Johns Taylor-made Army and all that !

I had a season in the Rookery for years, and went to quite a few away matches in the 80's heydays.

Followed them all the way (not that far actually) to Wembley in 1984 too, via every leg, and was personally sworn at and thrown off the pitch by Graham Taylor in a mini pitch invasion during the final minutes of the match they were promoted to the First Division for the first time 😋

However, totally gone off football since those days, as IMHO money has completely ruined and dare I say corrupted the game.

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Bubbs, probably too late for you, but if you are trying to joint a chicken, Delia's instructions work really well. I put off trying for ages out of fear, but when I tried it, I was very surprised to find out how easy it is. Nicer and cheaper than buying chicken pieces. Hope your curry went well.
