Evening all.
lovely cake.
I've printed some apgs and the bar code is bigger.Pehaps this is to solve the scanning problem.
I don't know - I was fine on the old one scanning straight through last time and then the one today (smaller value as it happens) failed to scan:(. According to my SA (this was at a staffed till) there is now a rule (in my store at least) that any APGs of over £3 need to have supervisor authorisation. They appears to be just to check the value as printed on them, not to check if they're glitchy:rotfl:. I did not ask what would have happened if the APG had scanned correctly - presumably they would not need supervisor authorisation unless they got caught into that never-ending loop of "scan other barcode" that then requires manual entry. As far as I know though, any manual entry then required a supervisor override (not just ones over £3, though maybe I have not been paying attention - or not had any under £3 before that have not scanned at a staffed till). On SS, I have never been able to get out of that "scan other barcode" loop and get the same voucher to scan through requiring the transaction number (I almost cheer if I get that come up:T) and it seems SAs at the staffed tills have the same problem - once you get the "scan other barcode":( it seems that particular APG will never work non-manually.
I was told they've been an update and the system had stopped working. However it worked fine earlier in the week, didn't work last week, but worked before then on some vouchers but not others and with no discernible pattern as to which it would work on or not. For me anyway. It just seems haphazard on each voucher rather than it being a case of system being changed or not. If they have done an update, then (no pun) they need to roll back to the system as it was when my £8 voucher went through on SS earlier! It seems however that things always go wrong after computer updates are made. (Though if they are glitches maybe that is a good thing:rotfl:.) I had the same where I used to work - every time a new software update was released, the system stopped working or otherwise went on go-slow and a new patch was then needed to try to fix the problem that had never been a problem before. IT technicians - they don't seem to know what they're doing!0 -

The reviews are good, comfy sturdy boots. I'm not in the market of buying just because they were cheap, that's not modis operandi :rotfl:0 -

I made one once with ordinary sponge and found it didn't roll too well. It doesn't have the stability and crumbles everywhere.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

I agree now ordered. Did anyone read on HUKD the person who couldn't chose a seventh pair so paid £22 for six:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No I didn't see that Di :rotfl: :rotfl: Did you read some of the reviews for the boots? I'm quite impressed with them for the money. There was a couple of pairs I didn't like, one pair looked too much like a wellie and the others were like a leopard print, definitely not my style, too erm .....not sure how to put it tbh :rotfl:
I noticed that there was confusion over on the dark side though, the boots were showing at £29.99  but they were still £4.99There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Daren't weigh myself as I lost all that weight following my ops and know I must have put a chunk back on.
Once my appointment is over with on the 4th of Jan, and my catheters (hopefully) come out, I am going to get on it. This eating needs to stop, and I seriously need to shift some weight.diluvsdiscounts wrote: »I'll join you LS I see my consultant on 6th Jan but my new years resolution is to shift the three and a half stone I've gained which by Jan will easily be four stone.
