Di I think you answered your own question;)nothing is a bargain as :money:is always saying if you are only getting them cause they are cheap...I bought some similar cheap a while ago and ended up using them as slipper:eek:aswere not very substantial:(

I know Nanny when I went the the canine centre on Tuesday with Bobby I wore my black boots but it was so muddy there they were ruined ( I hadn't planned on staying and doing a class which I then did or I would have worn my wellies,)
I can't drive in my wellies so trying to change them sat in the van with Bobby eager to get out wasn't very easy either.
I have signed up to six months of lessons and intend calling at the tesco next door when I go so my way of thinking is that these would be suitable. If I had seven pairs I could keep a pair everywhere, car, back door, van etc just to pull on if need be.
  • I am indeed, think I've worn out a path from the computer to the fridge. :rotfl:

Daren't weigh myself as I lost all that weight following my ops and know I must have put a chunk back on. :(

Once my appointment is over with on the 4th of Jan, and my catheters (hopefully) come out, I am going to get on it. This eating needs to stop, and I seriously need to shift some weight.

I'll join you LS I see my consultant on 6th Jan but my new years resolution is to shift the three and a half stone I've gained which by Jan will easily be four stone. I only have to look at TMs pictures of here food and I gain a pound and that carrot cake the other day:eek::eek: must have gained three pound looking at that one!

Did you gain that due to the treatment you had?

I find weight so easy to put on but difficult to lose. :o

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I put 7 pairs into my basket then added another two when I removed the last two it has now gone down to £16.93.
Do I really need or even want them I can't decide. I thought they may be good for dog trading lessons.

    Good morning.

Yes Di you do, I'm keeping 2 pairs the others are for the females in the family :)

The reviews are good, comfy sturdy boots. I'm not in the market of buying just because they were cheap, that's not modis operandi :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Even cheaper:D (probably old news for this thread by now).

    Vs T
    3x ASDA Grower's Selection White Potatoes (2.5KG) £1.17 £1.17

Sadly the rest of the stuff they bought didn't compare very well vs T and the potatoes were over £5:eek: elsewhere! It's unusual, that I have just come back with the wombles, only three this early time of day, and none of them have come back with any APG. I've done well on others though. It's amazing how many people pay full price 39p:eek: on the potatoes, including me:o. Instead of comparing properly against T. I just went and bought some potatoes on a 'not enough items' shop as I felt sure that nowhere else could be as cheap as that. Again I have failed:( - every time I do not check fully online first, I always end up paying too much:mad:. However, if I'd checked msm, I still would not have known as the potatoes are showing useless £1.75 OOS for T on there. They are on t.com at 39p though! And they are comparing vs T at 39p on the APG as you can see.

I was going to get a Tenderheart Cabbage (A 39p) as well, but the cabbage turned out to be somewhat smaller than they usually are in my store. I would have suggested buying in M, like I did last year with the Round Lettuce. However, that doesn't work anymore. I got a proper size in M when the Round Lettuce was on r'back in A but the size there had seemed to diminish. So, with the potatoes at 39p appearing to be cheap but in fact are too expensive as not 10% cheaper than T, I just picked up two bags of those instead (they were quite long dates in my store:T) as I would have felt rather shortchanged on the cabbage. I now feel shortchanged on the potatoes:rotfl:. And even more so buying Maris Piper last time at Aldi:eek: and getting short by at least half a kilogram!

    Good morning all :)

This could also get you towards a conditional spend value and stack with a T BG as own brands would not mess up the comparison? Though did someone say it is post TBG that counts towards the conditional spend value now instore? That being the case, a T Giftcard would not attract points but would count to the conditional spend limit from memory.
