I actually hit the bottom of the ironing pile last Friday. :j That has to only be the second time since being part of the Elite. :o :rotfl:

I never know how these things manage to escape our notice, I found an age 12 t shirt hanging in DD3's wardrobe a few weeks back. And I have definitely sorted through it at least 3 times in the last 6 years.

I hope DS2 gets through tomorrow without too much trauma, if all the school are wearing Xmas jumpers does that not make it "official" uniform for the day. ;)

Yes. He's annoyed at not wearing normal school uninform but he'd be more annoyed at not doing what everyone else is doing. I'm sensing an increase in self awareness from him lately.....at last he is actually becoming aware of the need to fit in.
that's a little sad for me because I've always admired the fact that it didn't bother him. that said, it's showing a bit of maturity that he realises he does have to fit in to some degree. Don't get me wrong.....he doesn't like it!! But it's a little sign of maturity I've not seen before.

Been on argos website all afternoon trying to think what to buy without spending more than £2.50 x 2. All I can find so far is sandwich tins, playdough and frozen sticker books. Will keep looking. Trouble is loads of things are £2.49!

£2.49 plus 5p bag will do it!

You don't have to leave things behind and some things are so bad you never will. It's not a bad thing, it keeps you grounded and makes you appreciate how much you have moved on and what you have now. your current family will have benefited from that greatly.
Don't be a victim......the person that made you feel so bad has given you what you have now, the tools to have a successful relationship and a happy family. You won ;)

Thanks FC, I have always said what I experienced made me the person I am now. :)

    So would I!

Being on the nice list has not been particularly exciting, it seems to mean you have to spend money and get to use a code.

I will have to investigate this - not heard of it before. Are the 6 visits to the VIP lounge physical vouchers and if so how long do they take to arrive and do they have expiry dates on them?

Either a card or I have downloaded the app and last 12 months :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

We all have memories and situations that bring us bad memories and put us under dark clouds. For me it's germs and I won't go into why :o but it's Christmas and I've had various things to attend and I really do want to go into them wearing a surgical mask :rotfl::rotfl: I'm in a position now where I'm having to avoid infections which brings up a very bad time in my life where infection nearly did wipe me out  the situation is totally different but the fear is exactly the same.

    Bedtime for me.

I have to retrieve DD3 from Surrey tomorrow. She went back with DD1 from Harry Potter on Monday.

She won't be best pleased that we will be visiting relations on our way home, just seems silly driving the 7 miles from home next week when I will be passing tomorrow. :money:

Too tired to wrap their presents tonight so I will have to get up an hour earlier tomorrow, want to be on the road for 9am. Not known for my timekeeping. :o

As you get older they don't have to last as long.
