Thanks LS & tweets :A He has eyes that see into your soul, I love him so much, despite the health problems he is having, including a form of dementia at moment
He has come a long way from his life as boss dog of a gang that lived by the market in Bucharest, cared for by Juliana as in giving food, taking them cardboard to sleep in/on, taking in for neutering. That is until the killing law came into force in September 2013 and she took as many as she could off the streets, from this and two other gangs that she cared for, and gradually found them homes in UK apart from a few still there in a private pension as not suitable for rehoming
He went from this (just left of centre front) and yes that is snow in the background:

to this, the first time he got on sofa and thought 'oh, this is nice'

Oh and another pic of him from Romania that I love, that Juliana sent me after I adopted him:
Goodnight Elite

We had not planned getting a dog. One morning I had watched Beethoven film with the kids, and then took them to the seaside for a walk and fish and chips....... saw an advert for a dog, rang and went to visit.
When we arrived someone was 'returning' a puppy. When she was put on the floor she ran under the kitchen cupboard and kept banging her head......... she was clearly meant for our family.
She is nearly 12 and is still in puppy mode!:D:D:D:D
