right I am in the mindset today to get on with the wrapping - paper, gift cards and an inadequate supply of gift tags at the ready.

firstly a cup of tea, shower and some clothing is needed.

today is a significant day in our household.

26 years ago today I was just getting booked in and settled at the maternity suite very calmly, no rush and obviously far too early but eldest son had other plans and he was born 45 minutes later

also 17th December is our wedding anniversary although it has taken a bit of a back seat over the last 26 years.

I know what you mean about your wedding anniversary taking a back seat.....same happened to me when our son was born on our 2nd wedding anniversary !

Morning all and happy anniversary mhoc. Jasmine was called Tiffany at the rescue centre (and all her kittens were semi precious stones - Topaz, Amber etc, think there was a bit of a jewellery thing going on). We changed her name as DH said Tiffany was too EastEnders. She'd only been given it once she arrived at the centre and was only there a few weeks, so hopefully wasn't too traumatised by having it changed lol.
Off for my Christmas haircut in a bit. Hairdresser is in A, so maybe have a bit of a womble while I'm there :D
