Cats take a while to settle back after being in the cattery. At the mo 2 of them are sat next to each other on a blanket and one on the floor, as long as I am in sight and don't move off the sofa there will be peace and serenity

Even Treacle who is the strong silent type was wondering around crying this morning when I went out of sight.
Sophie came in from doing her morning walk doing that wide mouthed howl which is impossible to ignore, like a babies cry. The boys were out at that time so she could have her breakfast in solitude without the Tom cats muscling in on her food. I gave her half a sachet, literally 50g and inevitably she wolfed it down and then it had come back up just as fast, on the kitchen mat and floor

So yet more kitchen scrubbing and no cat is getting any food now until the house is straight.

Worse than having a gang of unruly toddlers marauding through the house :rotfl:

Thanks, well I'm more peed off now as my appointment was 9 am, I start work 9.45, checked in for appointment to be told my doctor been off sick a few weeks , you have the locum but she does not start till 9.40:mad: are you ok waiting?

Feeling awful this morning up at 3 and didnt fall back asleep till 6. Think I am cooking the flu. Great that my boss is flexible so Ill go in this afternoon instead of this morning.
DS wants a home brew kit for Xmas. Any ideas anyone best place to look.

Thanks nanny, yes we are for my DD1s 25th birthday :eek: I do feel old but she is still a child at heart. Her sisters have got her Lego for her birthday. :rotfl: She has been buying some for Teeny for Xmas and feels she missed out with her one set she had when she was younger and has had down from loft.

It was her idea to go to Harry Potter not sure what me and Mr TS will make of it.

I had a bit if a worry before we went away and I decided to do keepsake - Royal Mail hold back your postal deliveries until you get back from holiday, not cheap but at least there is not an obvious pile of post sitting on the front door mat.

Our post comes anytime between 9 and 3 in the afternoon so its a matter of hanging around until it comes, can't even go and do garden tidying

I know there is one Amazon parcel which I hope will come and hopefully has not gone AWOL

Also one very nasty letter expected :mad: But about 90% will go straight into the waste paper box

We went a couple of years ago and I had not read any of the books or seen the films but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dont bother with the butterbeer ( tastes like ice cream soda ) and the shop is very expensive. But very good day out. Enjoy

I like your posts from HDUk - you sort of filter out the best stuff for the Elite

I don't venture over there much, there always seems to be a fight about to break out
