There is NO - DWP rule that states a maximum time for anyone on DLA to be called for PIP transition - so don't know why or what happened in your case ...
You will be called in normal time.

Not surprised I got picked on again, and this rule did not apply for me. I have just had to ring about not receiving my xmas bonus again... She picked up on the fact that I should have heard about PIP by now and I have to phone ATOS to arrange a medical assessment, joy of all joys :(
  • To be fair the whole PIP assessment form is just the same system as ESA and at best it is useless. They aren't based on medical tests what so ever and the most vulnerable victims end up getting shafted.

Further update from same person in DWP :

"I am sorry that information was unclear. The assessor will take the aid away to see whether you can walk without it.

My team has not been asked for this information before and I have had to ask someone. I am sure they wouldn’t ask you to do anything that could cause problems."

    This looks much better....
It is now a question of should I jump the gun and ask for a PIP transfer ?

I am now unsure whether EVEN this update is true - I have read contradictory info regarding whether I will be assessed with or without my walking aid
Can anyone who has gone through the (mobility side of the..) assessment - please comment ?
