Beamish, dear fellow, may I call you that, whilst your crusading zeal is to be applauded. I fear that you are urinating windwardly here.
So much so that I am prepared to double my bet to £2.00, Bookmakers quake when TD makes a bet on a dead cert.
Deep, you maybe right, gone are the days when I first joined years ago with the bank reclaim forum, most of my thanks came from that as I helped a lot of people to win.
Right now, I am parking ticket free and that is because, as Frank Sinatra sings "I did it my way" and indeed will continue to do so.
Fortunately, I avoid car parks who employ parking eye so their scamming does not affect me. I just feel very sorry for those who are now caught up in the latest scandal
Your bet with me is that the petition will not reach 10,000, there is only another 4,700 to go and we have until May so, how about a fiver then ?0 -

Beamish old chap, if I were to lose such a bet, I would have to dig deep into my assets with the Bank of Mum and Dad, and my good lady wife and myself would have to forego our weekly feast of scrag end of lamb and mashed swede. I must therefore decline.
Two pounds is a lot to lose, especially when one is both a BLT landlord and a higher rate taxpayer. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

It usually says to unsubscribe at the very bottom, small print, of the email. I got 1 the day after signing and clicked the no thanks link and never had another 1.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Whilst signing up may not do any good to not sign could give a government (if they were inclined to take notice) the idea that no-one cares so just leave well alone. Not everyone is as good at complaining as some on here regrettably.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Loving your contributions on this thread TD!
Just how many of these do you have in your portfolio?
:rotfl:
Oh dear, another slip of his keyboard.
@TD - you're on the rack, man! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ah Deep, had no idea, that is so sad. I know the feeling of being a high rate taxpayer, had to sell my roller and ended up with a beamer but it works for me, chin up:)0 -
The second half of this thread is great. Love it!0

Well whilst this is going on, we normal humans must display some humour and friendly banter because it's us against THEM.
And THEM from planet ZOD deep in the sewer solar system which is first left towards Uranus, a sister planet, are in for a great fun ride0
